I placed an online to go order for my spouse to pick up. After receiving the order, it wasn't correct. I ordered chicken crispers with loaded mashed potatoes but instead I got fries which was disappointing because I had ordered fries as an appetizer so I definitely did not want double fries. Also, the chicken tenders weren't as good as they usually are, less breading and didn't taste fresh, seems as if they weren't cooked to order. The to go cup was different as well, just a plain white cup with straw berry lemonade hand written on the cup, not the usual large to go cup with the chilli's logo. The whole experience was horrible, I called and spoke to Heath ledger the manager and he wasn't professional at all, initially he offered for me to come and get the missing mashed potatoes and stated I had to come within a week because his last day will be Sunday, then he put me on hold, I hung up and called back and he seemed to be a bit more professional but never apologized for the inconvience, he did offer to refund my purchase, which I gladly accepted considering I won't ever come back to this establishment again, Applebee's is my usual, they would never allow a to go order to be incorrect and not properly rectify the situation. From my understanding, they weren't busy as this order was picked up around 9:30 close to closing time, there's no reason why my order should've been wrong other than the fact that they are careless at night and I wouldn't advise anyone to place an order close to closing, better yet, don't place an order and expect 100% good quality food, order accuracy and customer service, they failed miserably and Heth ledger as a manager is a joke, glad he's leaving because no paying customer should ever have to endure his unprofessionalism and lack of care or concern regarding issues that clearly could've been fixed with a simple apology and a solution to resolve the issue, instead he made it clear why this establishment isn't worth the time, money or effort to patronize. Save your money and go where your business is appreciated. Worse chilli's I've ever been to and I've been living in Valdosta for 10 years, this place has gotten worse with time. Hopefully they close soon or get new staff and better training. TERRIBLE...
Read moreHusband and I came to eat first time at the Chili's Grill and Bar in Valdosta on March 6, 2024 during lunchtime. Extremely disappointed in the level of service received by our waitress.
After we were seated by the host- waitress came to serve us. She didn't greet us properly. And had an attitude the moment she spoke. Asked us what we wanted to drink. Brought us our drinks along with some chips and salsa. We didn't order any chips and salsa so I asked her why she brought them. Said she just brought them. Wasn't explained that we had to go on the app and sign up for the Chili's Rewards to get the free chips and salsa. Waitress shouldn't assume everyone is signed up, or wants to sign up to add another app to their phone.
After we ordered our meals I had to wait awhile for my salad. Thought she forgot about my salad since she was chatting a few tables away to another customer for about 7-8 minutes. Then starred at the back mirror for a couple minutes.
Finally, she brought the salad to the table. Waitress seated some customers around us. Greeted them in a friendly manner saying her name is Cathy (Kathy). Never knew her name until we heard it being said to other customers. Cathy, our waitress. The older lady with the blonde hair.
We had some issues with the kiosk at the table that we were trying to resolve. When our food arrived couldn't eat much. My burger was good, but unfortunately dealing with the stress from the waitress made me lose my appetite.
After another issue with the kiosk it was resolved. A "tip" to me is not automatic! I do tip, and tip well on top of that for exceptional service! If a waiter or waitress is rude then that is going to be reflected in the tip- not much of anything! Was so excited to come into town to this Chili's Grill and Bar with my husband for lunch, and in the end left me feeling like I never want to come back! Issues with the kiosk is beyond the waitress control, but rudeness is...
Read moreIm usually someone who is all for Chilis but today our experience was below sub-par. Our server was Hunter. Everything started off fine until we placed our order. Once our order was placed, we did not see our server until we were close to finished with our meal. We had requested refills on drinks after our appetizer was brought out and we never received them until the expo person for the night was asked to ask our server about refills. She was very kind and I wish I caught her name because she was the one to bring us our drink refills and a refill of chips for our unfinished salsa. I observed our server engaging in conversation with another coworker throughout our entire meal and did not come check on us once. I also witnessed our server and the young lady with double nose piercings engage in a loud conversation about another coworker who was an older gentleman wearing a red and grey shirt (appeared to be maybe a front of the house manager). They were talking about a coworker that apparently had been crying earlier in the shift and saying she became overwhelmed. I found this very unprofessional by the manager and the two servers as anyone in the bar area and surrounding tables could hear this conversation. On top of the rest of this experience, our server finally checked on us as we were finishing up and asked me if I wanted a refill to-go as I was still actively eating to which I requested to just get a refill that I had already waited...
