Ellianos Coffee — Restaurant in Valdosta

Several years ago, Ellianos Coffee established itself as a charming franchise in Valdosta, capturing my attention with its alluring coffee selections. Whenever the desire for a cup of coffee struck during my travels, I found myself frequenting their location(s). However, a significant shift occurred when the brand underwent a name change, leading to a transformation. Unfortunately, the adjusted flavor of the coffee no longer aligned with my taste, prompting me to cease my visits. Recently, a new Ellianos branch emerged near my residence, reigniting my affection for their coffee, especially the Carmella flavor. The proximity of the shop, combined with consistently friendly staff and prompt service, has turned it into a convenient and enjoyable experience. Despite my predominantly positive impression, I assigned Ellianos a four-star rating due to a couple of considerations. Firstly, the cups consistently fall short, being filled only halfway to three-quarters, even when I explicitly request no whip and no foam. Secondly, as a veteran-run establishment, I expected a more proactive approach in recognizing major military-related charge cards used by both active and retired military members. While I understand the hesitation to offer numerous discounts, a simple inquiry at the drive-thru window when presented with one of these cards would be appreciated. Additionally, I've always been puzzled as to why the baristas don't stir the flavored coffee when completing the ingredient combinations. Every time I indulge in my favorite flavor, it settles at the bottom of the cup, resulting in a sudden burst of oversaturated flavor at the end of the experience, rather than a consistent infusion throughout. This is the 3rd Elliano's location me and hubs have visited. I was at a business trip and hubs came with me. We were craving our favorite Turtle and Tuxedo freezers so we searched if Elliano's was in the area and luckily they are. We were greeted pleasantly and used the app to scan our rewards QR code. Was given our usual orders and noticed that the whip cream didn't have the chocolate and caramel drizzle that we're used to getting at our home store in Orange Park/ Jacksonville FL location on Blanding Blvd. Nevertheless, it doesn't change the flavor of the actual drink, it's just a bonus we get at our store but the other 2 locations we've visited don't normally drizzle the whip cream. i have not been here in awhile for the fact that my regular cup of coffee is alwsys bitter coffee drinkers know good coffee is smooth so i geuss this store caters to sweet coffee drinkers i drank some of tge coffee and tpld the girl it was bitter she said maybe you want to add sugar i never drink coffee with sugar i so i handed it back to her and i geuss she put it it the microwave i went to try it and burnt my mouth it didnt taste bitter at tgat time because it was too hot heating coffee up does not take away the bitterbess but i will not be back anymore going to hug in a mug where coffee is always smooth do sad you could cater to hot coffee drinkers with smooth coffee that dont put dugar in their coffee but i geuss it...
