Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Valdosta

Ordering was great no issues , the cashier was great , but the actually problem was getting my food, I feel the workers have some sort of disconnect and no communication, the person who made my sandwich did not bring it to me , instead tried to put it with the online orders and when realized it was a refusal to go didn’t hand it to me but the cashier who was clearly busy and had a line of other customers , then we come to the drink which was already made and just sitting there and I couldn’t understand why they didn’t just give it to me , the lady who made the drink , she seem like the shift lead or management took my drink to drive thru and guy told her to her face that it was a to go order , so instead of her bringing it to the customer she left it on the table , just when I was about to say something they guy in drive thru saw my drink still sitting there and finally gave it to me, but what didn’t sit right with me was him telling the cashier that she needs to keep up and I guess give customers their drinks even though the people making the drink were right in front of me and could of handed me my drink , the cashier had at least 5 people in line , why would she stop helping a customer in that moment to hand me my drink when, the person who made my drink could of just given it to me. They have gotten quicker. They seem to slowly get better and better. Even when service is bad, the shakes have been good.

Wife and I have given them so much money. But the consistency that was once there is no longer there. Today was the typical shake that I’ve been getting for a couple months now. It’s not stirred enough, almost has no flavor which makes no sense to me until I realized they were using more ice. I know this because the ice is still whole. It’s so weird when you’re drinking from it and you see the top get dryer and dryer. It’s because they don’t know how to blend it anymore it would seem.

I don’t like leaving reviews like this, but the owners deserve to know. Tropical Smoothie does taste good. But the person that trains these kids has failed miserably. We were coming here 3x a week. I think I’ll take a break until I see the...

Tell me why I sat in the drive through for 10 minutes while the employees thought it was appropriate to chat up their homegirl and jump over the fence like a fool when it was just me and the car in front of us. After honking the lady yelled out the window that she was waiting for a smoothie when the car in front of us had already been handed a smoothie and a bag of food 7 minutes prior. After honking, the customer ahead of me put their car in park and the ladies started making faces at us out the window. Ended up leaving without receiving our food because the employees were more interested in talking to their friends and looking at us sideways than serving us and we had somewhere to be.
