Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Valdosta

Visit Date: 03/08/2025 @ 1:24 pm, Cashier: Caroline G. This was our first visit traveling north for a spring break vacation. Zaxby's is my son's favorite restaurant. Most of the time we find the food good, but the restaurants lacks cleanliness. This time was no different. The food plates (boneless wings & chicken fingers) were served quickly and hot. The sweet tea was not sweet, but it was quickly resolved as one of the employees noted she had gotten busy and forgot to put in the sugar. The dining room lacked cleanliness. Note the 3 stars given. Many (not a few) of the tables had food on them and had not been wiped down. The chairs and seat booths had food crumbs on them. I walked passed 5 tables before I found one that I used my own sanitized wipes to clean it. The floor needed to be swept. I spoke to an employee and she shook her head yes and acknowledged my concerns. Our stay lasted about 45 minutes. No tables were wiped down and a bus of teenagers had arrived. The restaurant immediately became very busy. The restrooms were clean and stocked with toilet paper, hand soap and paper towels. - I am late in writing my review by 2 months, but I hope the conditions has improved. Terrible experience. I am used to Zaxby's being clean, and having quick service. Well it was neither. The Coke machine was out of coke, the bathrooms were disgusting. (This is coming from a man) I usually overlook a lot when it comes to the cleanliness of a men's room but this thing didn't look like it had been cleaned in a long time. Attached is a photo of the Urinal. Note the general nastyness around pipes and the edge of the Urinal, again no way that thing had been cleaned in days...

Parents - there is no changing table in either restroom. Again NO changing table in either restroom so when I asked where they expect me to change my kids diaper they responded with either the floor in the bathroom (that's a big no-go) or do it on a booth seat.

So think about that for a second, think about the cleanliness of a place that as employees they are fine with you changing God knows what in your kids pants on the booth seats. (That's the option I choose BTW.)

On the off chance I am traveling that way again I will definitely avoid Zaxby's all together and just go to...

Around 4:30 today, the drive thru asked me to pull up while they cook the food, no problem but it went bad from there and I will try to give the brief version. They gave my food to someone else, I think they forgot about me, I called and they said they "lost my ticket" instead of admitting they gave it to someone else. I saw the lady they gave it to walk my food back into the building. They proceeded to again give my order to someone else which I discovered after they brought me a bag. She asked what I had, I told her and she said yes, this is it. I check the food, not even close. I give it back to her. Almost 10 minutes after that and no food, I called a manager, by that time, I had been there about 50 minutes. Management gives me free meal coupons I can only use there but I don't live in Lake Park AND when I get home after waiting an hour for food, no salad dressing. Completely...
