Went here for a birthday dinner with friends. Service was good and my drink was good as well. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food unless they ordered steak. I had tritips with mushrooms, mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was inedible due to everything being over salted. I even had others try and they said as soon as it touched their tongue it was overly salted; the broccoli was even more overly salted than the steak which left both inedible. (The server hesitated when I ordered, if she knew, I wish she would have said something.) Another person order a steak and said it wasn't good either, but it either wasn't cooked well, or it was a bad cut of meat, not due to salt. There were 9 of us and everyone else had a good meal (fish and chips, ceasar salad, chicken souvlaki, shrimp and grits, lemon rice soup, calamari, saganaki). So, all in all, I think I'd go back and try something else, just not steak. Lastly, it's pretty dark inside, we sat in the bar side, not the restaurant side. Someone used their flashlight to see the menu. Otherwise it is a nice enough place with an...
Read moreI wouldn’t even rate this establishment but had to to give a review it doesn’t even deserve one star. We checked in at 7pm at 8:30pm we asked if we were going to ever get our salads, was told by the waitress “yes, it’s coming out”. We waited another 30 minutes for our meal with nothing being served. Our drinks never came, the manager was aggressive and said the time stamp was 10 minutes waiting. We told him to check his reservation logged he would see we have been here since 7:00 it is not 9:00pm. He told us to just pay our bill, we explained that the table behind us came in 45 minutes after us and they are done eating. We asked for drinks they never came, they over charged what we did have but was so angry that we paid the bill with no tip for waitress. We are disputing the bill for over charging and will never go back again.
DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT THE SERVICE IS AWFUL!!!! THE BAD...
Read moreThis was our first time at Parea and I was very pleased overall with our experience. I got the Blackened Mahi Mahi with a side salad and it was really quite good; the mango salsa was perfect with the fish and they were able to sub me rice for cous cous which was cooked very well. My boyfriend had the ribeye with the lemon rice soup and was equally as pleased with his dish, although a little disappointed they don't sell the soup by the quart! My only qualm with the meal was my side salad. It wasn't bad, it was just, a little lackluster. But that wasn't what I was there for so I wasn't really that bothered. I will say, they were pretty slow and I was kind of shocked considering how much we enjoyed our meal. Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience and we will...
