This is not only located in an excellent cluster of shopping and different treat restaurants, but this is honestly some of the best non-Mexican Restaurant food around since most of the Taco Del Mar locations have closed around this area of the northwest.
The staff are helpful and very friendly. The salsa bar is always clean and offers lemon AND lime slices (I always like a few to squeeze into my Coca Cola and also on tacos or burritos), 5 different salsas prepared in house ranging from Salsa Verde (tomatillo-based green mild salsa) to a great and still flavorful "Hot Salsa" which I believe is habañero-based.
The menu leans towards a healthier approach to this more Americanized option and you will probably never ever see refried beans on their menu (which works well for vegans and people who follow religions which dislike pork or park-based lard), only black beans and whole pinto beans are available. There is also no ground beef offered here, but their meat is delicious and worth getting if you are an omnivore lile like myself.
As I'd mentioned regarding convenience, you've got Cold Stone Creamery neighboring this place, plus Jamba Juice a few blocks away, Target in the same parking lot, so the convenience factor is also great!

Read moreEdit+ Came back and tried the new birria taco plate for 13$, delicious. My favorite is still the wahoo Baja bowl, but all their food I've tried has been great. Great food.
They had signs up saying no microwaves, no can openers here, well they lived up to that, it tasted very fresh.
The food was actually a decent portion size aswell, I ordered the wahoo bowl, which is white fish. Which cost around 13$.
The food had alot of flavor, the fajita veggies were cooked well and overall just a great flavorful meal.
The restaurant was very slow when I went, this probably helped make the food really good because they weren't busy at all and had all the focus to make mine really good.
I will probably be coming back to try more meals here. Much better experience then the Costa vida place I tried...
Read moreLove the pork carnitas tacos. They are always so flavorful and delicious. The last time we visited the beans were under cooked, they needed to be cooked about 30 minutes more but were still edible. The restaurant was very dirty though which is why it is only getting 3 stars. Usually it is so clean but this time it was pretty gross. The floors were sticky and covered in food, I had to wash our table as there were no clean tables, salsa & such all over the salsa bar... I also found something floating in my water so either the soad machines had not been cleaned or the cups sat where they could get food in them behind the counter. This is so out of the norm for them but was a...
