Black Rock Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Vancouver

I love blackrock but this last time I did not have a very good experience. Me and my husband ordered 2 drinks and the order came out to $10. We ordered iced drinks but asked for “light ice” and the girl with the long red hair said if she does light ice then she can’t fill them all the way. We said alright thinking it was just gonna be a little bit even though at a different location the day prior, we also asked for light ice and the guy working did it no problem and still filled it all the way! But anyways the girl gives us our drinks and they are literally like 3/4 full. I feel like that was not worth $10 for...

How can a coffee place not have coffee??? I went to order a regular coffee and it wasn't even an option. I was not mad, more or less shocked, but the barista had to go and take it out on me with her negative energy all because I was shocked they don't have just regular coffee??? That makes sense....

So I decide to buy a small latte, almost $7 after she puts the iPad in my face expecting a tip, "here's a quick question for ya!"

Meanwhile, I go to Italy, spend $1.50 on the best coffee, they refuse to take a tip, and they give me a hug and kiss out the door. What has this...

I see a lot of negative reviews here but this is my 2 cents after living in the area for 4 years and coming to this stand regularly in that time. The staff all know my name and my order. They even know my wife's order by heart even though I hardly come here with her. The coffee has been very consistent with the occasional mistake that they promptly correct when I bring it up. The only downside is it can be hard to line up when it's busy. Overall this is one of the best Black Rock stands I go to and can't say enough...
