It’s sad when prices are over priced on everything and for Burgerville being one of the most expensive, that we should receive quality and hot food. I don’t usually give a one star posting, but for this employee, running the drive through at 7401 Se. Mill Plain. I simply asked them to microwave our cheeseburger to make them extra hot, to melt the cheese. If it’s not melted, their “quality cheese” looks like a congealed, plastic slice of cheese on the patty. For $3.99 a cheeseburger, you would think it was an easy request, which by the way, another Burgerville location told me to do, when ordering. McDonald’s does better, for less money. I’m a long time, loyal customer. My favorite location has always been the location near the Vancouver mall, next door to the Taco Bell. They’ve just recently closed that location. Too bad, because they consistently served Hot, fresh burgers, at any time of the day. They spoiled me, I guess because the other locations just wasn’t as hot or good. Last week, I visited the location at McGillivray and they suggested that I should ask, when ordering, to stick my burgers in the microwave. Back to the location today on 7401, Se. Mill Plain, the guy in the drive through would rather argue with me and tell me that they don’t microwave their burgers. I left in disgust, WITHOUT my order and drove down to the location at 11704 Se. Mill Plain and they microwaved my food, as I asked, without any argument. Get with the program Burgerville management, your prices are ridiculous and I can easily spend my money somewhere else, to get hot, not luke warm, expensive fast food! I can’t wait until In N Out comes here, because they always serve hot, quality food, for a hell of a lot less. Avoid this location, like I will and maybe they’ll close this place too. Plenty of locations, nearby.
Update: Four days after I wrote this review, I received a kind phone call, from their corporate guest services. They were understanding and interested in making things right. They apologized and sent me a $10 gift towards my next visit. That’s more than what I’ve received in the past on any review, I usually hear nothing. I’ll give them another chance, because I’ve always...
Read moreUpdate: 2/16/25 I just deleted my app and WILL NO LONGER PATRONIZE ANY LOCATION as the $15 credit customer service gave me before expired after customer service PROMISED it wouldn't. I had doubts about being to use it anyway since the last time I tried I was screamed at by a cashier at this Heights location, see below. I don't need to accept verbal abuse from cashiers for my dining experience and neither do I want to accept lies from corporate customer service. They don't seem to care about anything anymore so ... there are other burger places out there. I am never returning to this location. As in Tessa's review -- I agree, horribly rude location. I was screamed at twice and never allowed to order anything - for no reason but whatever existed in the service person's head that they projected onto me when I asked for help with app. Please skip the offer for me to call your customer service as I already have and I don't want anything more from Burgerville but for it to be passed on to their manager as I requested. They said they would pass it on but I do have my doubts that the person I spoke too fully understood. I would suggest going to another location unless you enjoy verbal abuse for no reason. EDIT: AS I SAID, I don't want anything more from Burgerville as I have ALREADY reached out. Did you even...
Read moreI don’t live in the western area of the United States, so prior to today, I had never even heard of Burgerville. I can say though, after my experience today, they serve up some of the freshest burgers on the market. When I initially walked into the restaurant, it had an American diner theme, which was cool to see. When I ordered, the cashier was attentive, taking note of everything I said. My total came out to 23$, which is definitely pricey… I don’t know if the prices in Oregon and Washington have substantial differences, but other restaurants tended to be much cheaper for the same amount of food. Regardless, I sat down, and the food was brought out fairly quickly. I ordered a strawberry shake, which was fresh, and had bits of strawberry inside, although, I’ll say it tasted more like a smoothie. I also ordered the #6 (1/2) burger, which was enormous, and didn’t look like a fast food burger at all. I took a bite and was hit with fresh flavors, from the seared patties, to the aged cheddar cheese, to the fresh vegetables found on the burger. With the burger, I ordered fries to dip in the shake, they were hot and salty. I’ll say, I was very satisfied with Burgerville, and I’ll likely return if I’m back...
