Thai House in Vancouver, WA, is an enchanting destination for anyone with a penchant for the rich and vibrant flavors of Thai cuisine. Nestled in the heart of the city, this gem of a restaurant invites diners into a warm, inviting atmosphere that echoes the hospitality of Thailand itself. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by the tantalizing aromas of spices and herbs that are the hallmark of Thai cooking. The menu at Thai House is a carefully curated journey through the culinary landscape of Thailand. Each dish is crafted with precision, balancing the quintessential flavors of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy that Thai cuisine is celebrated for. The Pad Thai is a standout, with perfectly cooked noodles, a harmonious blend of flavors, and just the right amount of crunch from the peanuts. The Green Curry, another highlight, offers a creamy and aromatic experience that's both comforting and exhilarating, with tender morsels of chicken that melt in your mouth. What sets Thai House apart is not just the quality of its food but the authenticity of the dining experience. The ingredients are fresh, the spices are ground in-house, and the recipes have been passed down through generations, ensuring that each dish is both traditional and innovative. The chefs at Thai House take pride in their craft, and it shows in the complexity and depth of flavors present in every bite. The service at Thai House is as exceptional as its cuisine. The staff goes above and beyond to make diners feel welcomed and valued, offering recommendations tailored to individual tastes and dietary preferences. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, making it an ideal spot for everything from a casual dinner with friends to a special occasion with loved ones. In conclusion, Thai House in Vancouver, WA, is a culinary haven that offers an authentic Thai dining experience. With its exquisite cuisine, inviting atmosphere, and impeccable service, it's a restaurant that not only satisfies the palate but also captures the essence of Thailand's rich culinary tradition. Whether you're a long-time lover of Thai food or a curious newcomer, Thai House is a destination that promises an unforgettable dining adventure.

Just wow, $17 for Tom Kha.....that's ridiculous, and to boot it being a pick up order - so in reality you lose over 30/40 percent of the soup that would have been served in person and I drove there myself to grab it. I gasped in surprise seeing that price when I went inside to pay. Just saying, this is my favorite soup and I've been to at least 15-20 Thai restaurants thru Portland/Vancouver and have never once seen it this high in price. Not even close. Again, I did a pick up order; that's the small plastic container size you get when you don't finish all your soup at the table kind of thing. That's a joke charging folks $17 dollars. I'll never go back, business lost and to think the soup is worth this price even to sit down would have made me consider going elsewhere. Lol, I saw the prices of other food as I waited on the staff and also was in shock. Consumer beware, there's plenty other high quality Thai restaurants, nicer locations and fairly priced - go elsewhere.

I have eaten at plenty of Thai restaurants over the years and generally I have stuck with just eating the Chicken Pad Thai. My sister is a regular for this particular restaurant and while visiting we decided to all come here. I am very happy this ended up being where we ended up eating. Starting with the menu there are options I have never seen before at a Thai restaurant starting with the Thai Beef Jerky special that was simply amazing (Gluten Free for people like my sister that need it). I ordered the Thai BBQ Pork that also came with jasmine rice. In the middle of the table there are 5 different hot sauce options and I found several that complimented this dish very well. This was cooked just the way I like it and these two dishes have me hoping to try some more options again soon.

It saddens me to leave this one star review, but I feel it is necessary. I’ve been vegan for nearly 10 years. I have been searching for a Thai restaurant that can make their food vegan. I’ve had issues at other Thai restaurants not being transparent regarding the allergens in their meals. Then now, I had a similar experience with Thai House. Since I learned they are apparently vegan friendly, I have been eating at Thai House for a while now. Both in person and take out. In addition to that, I have always ordered my items as vegan. And haven’t had a problem with that, until now.

In a recent Uber Eats order, I ordered spring rolls, as I have ordered them on Uber eats before AND verified that they are vegan in person at the restaurant, EVERY TIME. So, I get a call (that I later noticed), and Thai House lets me know the spring rolls aren’t vegan, as they contain egg. I appreciate the call, but why wasn’t I called or told many times before? Also, why was the item prepared and delivered despite the issue? A note could have been sent with the other vegan meal saying they weren’t able to prepare it vegan. Again, I have always ordered them to be prepared vegan. And that’s with multiple staff, multiple times.

The staff are friendly, it’s a nice atmosphere, the food is good. But the fact that the staff were negligent and didn’t let me know the food I ordered as “vegan” contained egg isn’t right. Not sure if they don’t know what vegan means, or care to know what it means, but it’s not right to serve someone a dish that contains a common allergen when they specifically ordered it vegan (which avoids eggs). I used to eat out here a lot, but after finding this out, it really makes me not want to eat here again. If the situation was one time, I’d be able to understand mistakes happen and that life goes on. But being negligent about an allergen, when someone clearly orders it to not contain it, is another story. Now I wonder if other items I have ordered as “vegan” actually were vegan.

If you are vegan and/or have other dietary needs, be extra diligent when ordering at this place. I don’t think they had bad intent, but I think it...

Edited review for October 6th. This is my favorite Thai place in town and I was excited to bring some out of town friends in for dinner and it was a very dismal experience. We were seated immediately, had to ask for the third set of utensils and napkins. After the food arrived. I'm not sure what was going on because it wasn't that busy but when you see three people at a four person table and there's only two sets of utensils it's not hard to do that kind of math and bring the extra set. There were two orders of curry, mine was depending chicken with mixed vegetables, she ordered the chicken avocado Curry and absolutely loved it. He ordered something that was steak and served in a small cast iron skillet with what seems like an entire onion and only seven pieces of meat. Once the food was delivered we never saw another person and we were there a good hour if not more. We tried several times to get our waiters attention and we weren't ever acknowledged. My guest actually stood up and tried to get the attention and we were still ignored. Finally someone had come by with a broom to put back by the station and I had to practically yell excuse me to get the attention and say that we've been waiting and waiting to get taken care of so we can get checked out. We never ever got followed up on or even more water. I have to say it was a pretty poor in person dining experience as far as customer service goes and then that steak meal. I was excited to show off my favorite Thai place and ended up being pretty disappointed and embarrassed

I have had take our many times and not disappointed. It's delicious! Quality is excellent. The coconut shrimp is fantastic; wonderfully crisp on the outside while the shrimp is tender and flavorful. The larb gai with chicken is amazing! I like it hot hot hot and with extra lime. These are my favorite...
