Seize The Bagel - The Heights — Restaurant in Vancouver

I never would have thought I'd find myself wanting to go to a bagel place. My fiance talked about you guys for quite some on morning I said alright let's give it a try. Before you guys I was a basic cold regular bagel and cream cheese guy and that was a last resort or something I'd eat during hunting season not a regular thing. We finally went and was greeted by a chipper worker behind the counter. And I was just smacked with information about all this crazy stuff you guys do with bagels just about knocked me over. I'm scanning the wall while asking the worker what is good pretty sure that worker listed off like 98% of your menu

I seen the chicken cordon bleu which I absolutely love a good chicken cordon bleu and thought what a odd thing to put on a bagel. But my eyes kept going back to it so I asked for one by the way it's pretty early In the morning i think the worker must have thought i was crazy lol

At this point even I'm thinking this will be horrible especially this early in the morning and that this was a bad decision. Wow was a surprised when I grabbed it and started eating.

My review of this location is 10/10!!!! My husband and I have been coming to seize the bagel for the past 4 years. We have tried all the locations. The Heights location is BY FAR superior for so many reasons. The main reason is the amazing weekend morning workers. Desiree and Louise are The OG Seize the bagel ladies! They’re the heart and sweat of this shop. No matter how busy it is, these two ladies will make you feel like you’re the only customer:) Louise remembers us every time we come there and knows our order. She always says “welcome home.” You’ll never find a time when Desiree isn’t singing while making bagels, bringing the bagels out to customers and thanking them for stopping by. Those two seriously make my day! Another reason you should come to this location specifically is that they make the bagels better than the other locations! They actually toast the bagels, put enough cream cheese on and make them taste so good! The overall vibe of this location is welcoming and friendly. My family and I will continue coming to this location specifically even though it is farther from our house than other locations. HIGHLY recommend.

Good options at a reasonable price. I've not yet been to other seize the bagel locations, but this one is fairly nice. The shop is small, and during busy times of the day, it can feel very crowded, but the food is worth it in my opinion and the service is pretty quick normally.

The specialty is, as the name suggests, bagels, and most of the options are fantastic. They give a good amount of cream cheese, and all the bagels always seem very fresh. They offer other options that are also good. Their sandwiches are decent, and some of their baked goods are well worth the price, particularly the danishes and the cinnamon bun. Their drinks can be a hit or miss at times depending on the day, but the raspberry white mocha and the frozen Butterbeer are almost always a good choice.

The biggest issue really is the lack of space in the building, but as an easy or quick breakfast/lunch option, it's great...
