A True Taste of Turkey: Dadash Grill is Unforgettable! From the moment you walk into Dadash Grill, you know you're in for a special experience. This isn't just a meal; it's a culinary journey beautifully packaged with incredible hospitality and stunning decor. The atmosphere alone deserves five stars. The intricate, colorful Turkish mosaic lamps create a warm, inviting glow, casting beautiful light over the dining area. The entire space, including the sleek coffee bar, is elegantly designed and feels genuinely authentic. Now, for the food—it is sensational! We started with a rich, comforting bowl of soup, perfectly balanced and served with fresh lemon slices. For the main course, the mixed grill was a masterpiece. Every piece of meat—from the tender Adana kebab to the juicy Kofte and chunks of chicken—was expertly grilled and seasoned to perfection. The quality of the meat and the freshness of the accompaniments were outstanding. You absolutely cannot skip dessert. The display case alone is enough to tempt you! We tried the Carrot Slice Baklava with Pistachio and the famous Dubai Dessert, both of which were rich, moist, and wonderfully sweet. The dessert menu also features traditional items like Kunefe and various decadent mousse cakes. To finish the meal, the traditional Turkish coffee, prepared in a beautiful copper cezve over hot sand, was the perfect, aromatic end to an incredible dinner. Dadash Grill is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic, high-quality Turkish cuisine in an exquisite setting. We will...
Read moreOh my gawd, the food at this place is RIDONCULOUS. We had the lentil soup, chicken breast shish kebab, falafel plate, and their baklava. Ho. Lee. Cow. I have no idea what spices they put in their lentil soup, but it was unique and superb. A little soupy for me; better textured lentil soup can be found at DarSalam on NE Alberta, but the flavor here is better. Here's what I experienced with the chicken shish kebab: Brought it home as take-out for lunch the next day. Popped a chunk in my mouth as an amuse bouche (aren't I fancy) before microwaving, didn't even get to the microwave before I ate the whole plate cold. And the falafel... Jeez Louise. This is the best falafel I have ever eaten. And I'm a falafel snob. Until recently the best falafel of my life was at the Jerusalem Cafe (RIP) in St. Paul, MN circa 1992, run by a bunch of Hasidim from the old country. I've been around the world looking for better falafel and finally found it at Falahi Bros. downtown Vancouver. That beat out Shalom Y'all by a healthy margin. Now Dadash pops up and blows them away. Their falafel is so good you could drop it on the floor and step on it and it would still be the best falafel I've ever eaten. No notes. Our new...
Read moreWe ordered take out and even though the restaurant was nearly full, we received our order under 25 minutes. We ordered the hummus, falafel, lavash bread and the mixed kebab plate. We wanted to try a little of everything. The mixed kebab plate also came with anatolian mashed potatoes, salad and rice. The portions were generous and the flavors were so savory and fresh. We were happy with everything we ordered. The lavash bread was huge. The staff was also kind. I'm happy that we have another delicious place to eat...
