I don't know where to start. We've been to other five guys restaurants before. When you go in, you expect that your burger comes with the essentials, lettuce, tomato, pickles or even onions. You shouldn't have to specify it, right? Wrong. I ordered a cheeseburger and we waited about 15 min in an empty seating area. You can tell those workers were new because the manager was there telling them how to do it. (I should have known then to cancel the order and walk away). My husband noticed it too and he reasoned this could either be the best thing that has happened or the worst thing. The latter is true. When we received our bag we walked out of there cuz we had been there for a while and when we got to the car, we opened our burgers and all I saw was buns, meat and cheese. That's it. My husband specifically asked for grilled onions on the side, because he assumed it would come with onions. Guess where they put the onions? That's right... inside the burger. This was the most disappointing and pricey burger we've ever purchased for what we got and what we expected. So if you are planning to go there because you are hungry and it is the only restaurant that survived the apocalypse, make sure to ask what comes with the burger and ask to add on the basics.

NOTE TO STORE OWNER - This Zach guy is a tank. If he isn't a manager, make him one. If he's already a manager, give him your job as store owner or district manager. He was running this place by himself (we must have come in at shift change and/or break time) and absolutely crushed every part of customer service, grill, and execution of an amazing product. His personality was fantastic, the food he made us was fantastic, and the speed in which he handled our orders (3x of them) was fantastic. I will be back to your location specifically because of him and the quality he brings to the table. Do not lose this young man as an employee; he's a rare one.

Why not have a combo meal? Spent 17$ for a burger, fry and a shake. Buy why... The veggie cheese sandwich was pretty good, and the fries were decent and both were large portions, which I'm guessing is to make a good impression as they just opened up. Burger looked like a mess, but tasted good. The bacon milkshake was as expected, kinda weird but not bad. But loosing two stars because it was definitely not worth 17$, make a meal deal and charge 12$ or something. I might come back and eat a burger or get just a fry, but definitely not getting over charged on all three again.

I love five guys, by no means is this a negative review of the company. I know this is a new location, just a few observations... Customer service is a bit lacking; when ever there is a question of food or "operation", the staff turn straight to what I presume to be the manager and "she" (i say this because they all turn to her) just walks away or hollers some random instruction to the team. I personally had to help a customer with the soda machine because all the staff just stood idle after he asked for assistance and they turned to, again the manager...she walked back to the rear kitchen area without addressing either the customer or the employees. I had to cancel my order twice because someone else was logged in to the computer; let me tell you, while it was all fun and games while I was there, it is not professional to blame other staff for their lack of competence to customers. I also had to remind staff twice that there was a milkshake on my order.

Overall, Food was exactly...

First time trying Five Guys, and ran into an issue where ordering on the website for this location routed it over to the one on 192nd. Didn't realize it had happened until I got there to pick up my order, but the staff was amazing. It's a tech issue with online ordering that they had a guy working on while I was there, and they offered to cancel my original order and make it there so I didn't have to drive back across Mill Plain. Since the other location would have already had my order started, I told their tech guy (he must have been a higher up) to make sure the staff got to enjoy them so the burgers didn't go to waste. Heard him pass the word along, which is awesome since I know a lot of food places will throw food out before letting the employees eat it for free. Great experience, awesome staff, and the burgers were as good as I've always been told. Huge kudos again to the staff at...
