Perched on the edge of the vast Walmart Vortex like a small bright moon, I ❤️ Gyro is easily missed by the weary traveler as they struggle against the gravitational pull of America’s largest retailer. It is a barren wasteland and I drove by twice looking for the place, which is too small to actually write out its full name on the sign. Blink, and you miss it, which would be pity as it bigger inside than it is outside. And what I mean by that is packed into that small, relatively uninspiring space is excellent, larger than expected, wonderful food. The Lamb Gyro I had was fantastic in all respects! The tender, thinly sliced lamb was perfectly seasoned, the pickles were a delicate balance to the savory and hot aspects of the wrap. It was juicy, it was tangy, it was messy, it was amazing. I also had a plate of Hummus to balance the meal, it was subtle and smooth, one of the best I’ve had in ages. This old seeker had found himself in a quandary. While out fighting dragons and dreaming of distant shores, I had found I could not decide between two great questions. A bacon cheeseburger or a BLT. This, in the excessive heat of the day had become an almost existential crisis and I had started to become a little panicky. A bacon cheeseburger was too heavy and greasy and I was afraid it would not sit well, while a BLT might not be enough for me… I needed something complex yet profound, filling yet not burdensome. Usually these decisions are not so critical, but I was tired and hungry and it was hot and my batteries were running down and I’m getting old and I’m sick of scrolling through google looking burger joints. I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me earlier! Right there between the two, like a great clear light dividing the night sky! Without the grease of burger yet more substantial than the BLT and dancing with complexity of flavor is the holy Gyro! So then, it’s like being out at sea for a long time and you come around the point into an unexpected soft green safe harbor and there are friendly people there to greet you and you anchor your ship and they have great food waiting for you and you know you have come to the right place. The food is perfect, the proprietor is welcoming. Congratulations on his upcoming marriage! I hope his trip to Turkey goes well!

From the moment I entered, my mouth was watering from the aroma filling the air! I was greeted with smiles and attentiveness from the 2 young brothers at the counter as lively music played in the background. I ordered the Falafel Platter (4 large falafel balls served on a bed of seasoned basmati rice, tzatziki dipping sauce, Greek salad and a side of hummus with pita bread. Hot tea to drink) I was not disappointed! Very generous portions, awesome presentation and served at the right temperatures. The pita bread was piping hot and soft as rose petals! And the hummus is insanely delicious too! Not runny, perfect texture! The salad was super delicious with the crumbled feta cheese adding a smooth dimension to the tangy vinaigrette. And the Falafel balls...best ever, both alone or with the dipping sauce! The rice was cooked to perfection and complimented the meal. I relaxed at my table, savoring all the flavors, constantly being waited upon and chatted to as if I'd been a long time customer! Already planning my next visit! Even though they've only been open 8 months, they held a steady crowd dining in, several carry out and staff knew most customers by name, meaning they've already got regulars and they proudly display their large review in the local paper! #I❤Gyros

Food is great and the service is impeccable. I came to this place for the first time just last week. Over the course of 5 days, I’ve visited this restaurant 4 times. One day I came here twice. The food quality here is fantastic, the kebab plate is flavorful and filling, pictured here. The sauce is great. The gyro meat is tender and savory. On the warm pita, it is well balanced with fresh vegetables and meat. I’ve tried many of the gyro joints around the Vancouver area and this is by far my favorite. If I was available everyday, I’d come here everyday. The service is quick and friendly. They happily provide you anything you need and answer any questions you have. Highly recommend this place! Update December 2022: Unfortunately, I've moved away. But I still think of this place. If you are in the area, highly recommend!

Let's start off first with the customer service. IT WAS AWESOME! I was greeted upon coming in. And the guy at the front counter (I'm assuming is the owner) was already chatting with a lady. So already hearing him asking about her family, I knew he was going to be so polite and attentive. And sure enough he sure was he was talkative, asked me what I do, etc. And he had me so diatracted, that my order was ready before I even realized I was actually waiting on it haha. When I got into my car, I could smell the chicken gyro and Greek fries and my mouth was watering extensively. I already had a favorite gyro place (I'm super picky about them). But it was all the way in beaverton which as you know is pretty far, especially since I live in Vancouver. So I wanted to try this place out and give it a real shot. It had great ratings so why not right? Well I was NOT disappointed. Not only is this my NEW FAVORITE place, but it's 5 minutes from my house!! Win win! When I got home and dug into the gyro, I couldn't believe it surpassed the other place I used to go to. I mean literally eyes rolling in the back of my head, mouth still watering, and I was talking to myself lol so to sum this up, definitely 5 stars. If I could, I would give it 10. All...
