⭐ 1 Star Review — ID Grabbed Without Consent, Refusal of Service, and Disrespect

I visited this establishment to order a drink and was asked for ID — which I fully expected and complied with. I politely presented my valid government-issued identification, holding it in my hand for visual inspection, as allowed by Washington State law.

Without asking for permission, the bartender suddenly grabbed the ID out of my hand, which was completely inappropriate and uncalled for. I calmly told him that I was willing to show both sides of the ID clearly, but that I preferred to hold it myself, as is my right.

Instead of respecting that, he became dismissive and stated that if I didn’t comply with his demand to physically hand it over, I wouldn’t be served. When I attempted to clarify my legal rights and remain respectful, I was told I should just “leave if I don’t like it.”

For the record, Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) guidelines do not require patrons to surrender their ID physically — only to present it in a way that allows age and authenticity to be verified.

This experience was not only disrespectful, but also showed a complete lack of understanding of both customer service and legal boundaries. If you value your rights and expect to be treated with basic human decency, I strongly suggest avoiding...

Service is #1 in my book! So I have actually been to this place three times. The first time was an amazing experience. I had drinks and appetizers with a friend and everything was fine all the people were wonderful and it's even dog-friendly which is a plus.

The second visit however, I went to produce my identification, which was a paper copy of the license from Oregon that was still in the mail. The blond female bartender or assistance at the time, told me that she would need an additional form of identification in order to accept the copy of my license which is what they give you to use while you're waiting for it to come in the mail. I advised her that this was not correct and that she could look this information up on the Oregon DMV website however, she refused to allow me into our establishment even at the ripe age of 39 years old.

About four hours later, I entered the bar and was served by the other bartender food and drinks without any problems. The blond female that had turned me away earlier that day had gone home. the service here that atmosphere and the food here is amazing. Had a very negative experience trying to order food with them through UberEATS. I ordered and went to pick up the food, when I arrived the bartender said I'm sorry we don't have your food, due to the ordering ipad not being physically at the restaurant so they had "no way" of fulfilling or knowing they had an order to fulfill. She charged me again for making the food and said I would have to cancel the order on UberEATS and that would start the refund, however on UberEATS end to them it appears that the restaurant already started the order and could not give me the refund. $41 down the drain, and the food wasn't even prepared with any kind of quickness or remorse that my food order was completely ignored, and now I paid twice for a mediocre meal that took forever to make. Very unimpressed with the lack of professionalism and definitely never ordering here or from UberEATS especially again.
