I went to this McDonald’s today at about 3:15 am. I ordered their new mushroom Swiss burger without the sauce that usually comes on it and without the fried onions that come on it. I asked to add mayonnaise instead that was the ONLY substitutions I made to it. It was still a beef patty! I also ordered a few other things. So I wait in the drive thru for about 10-15 minutes with a car in front of me then it’s my turn. I get up to the window and pay (the girl working was very friendly. Younger girl in her 20s), then I wait about 5 more minutes for the food. She brings the food to the window and says the fries are hot they just came up and to have a good night. I didn’t get a receipt though.. so I get home and I am eating my fries and then I go to eat my burger.. and what do I get?!? A bun with a chicken patty, Swiss cheese, mustard and bacon! NOT EVEN CLOSE TO WHAT I ORDERED. So I call the store and it is now 4:00 am. (And another woman answers but she is a little older than the other girl and definitely a different voice and NOT friendly at all). I tell her what I received and she proceeded to tell me that she could take my name and number so that the store manager could call me later in the day because there was NO way for her to confirm that I actually ordered the mushroom Swiss burger. I asked her if I could come back and have it replaced and she told me no it was AGAINST store policy! And now I’m irritated because I paid for this burger that is like $6 something after tax and I can’t have it replaced?!? So then she proceeds to tell me that after the store manager talks to me they will send me a coupon in the mail! (So I have to wait a week to receive a coupon to replace something that could have just been replaced right away?!?). She then tells me there is no way to have it be replaced because 1.She’s a manager and It’s AGAINST store policy (the Dairy Queen business runs in my family so I had worked in fast food my whole life as a manager. And at no store had it ever been against store policy to replace a food item that we messed up on! It would be our fault and you would do anything to keep your customers happy and wanting them to come back to the store). And 2. She said it was now only breakfast so it wouldn’t be able to be replaced anyway and that I could call back at 10 am to talk to the store manager. So since this was the only thing that I got for myself to eat besides sharing some fries with my sister, I just don’t get to eat anything? That’s super cool! I’m glad I pay for something and don’t get it and I’m also glad the customer service was so great! Haha NOT! I will not being going back to this store ever again! I’d rather drive across town 20 minutes to the other 24 hour store than...
Read moreThe picture I posted is supposedly a corporate customer service number. You're going to need it.
We went through the drive through and ordered two "2 for $5" deals (A quarter pounder w/cheese and a 10 piece McNugget and 2 more 10 pieces). Total in the drive through clearly indicated they were charging us individually for all items. I asked about it and was told the discount would be applied when the order was complete.
Except once the order was complete, we were told "I'll have your total at the window."
Everything that happened from this point on reeked of a crew that's skimming from the register.
When we got to the window and were given a total, I asked to see the receipt. The guy at the window refused, claiming he couldn't show us the receipt until after we'd paid. I told him the total we'd been given was incorrect, because they were still overcharging us. He read back the items we'd ordered, but didn't supply any prices. I told him I needed to see the prices - he said "What, you want me to show you the monitor?" I said that would suffice, and he turned the monitor an inch or two towards the window. Impossible to read.
I asked for the manager. Another guy, "Edgar," comes to the window (I'd say kid, as he identified himself as 19 later) and I explain the situation to him.
He offered to read it back. I told him that wouldn't suffice, as we needed prices. He said he would read the prices back, and I told him I wouldn't be calculating the list in my head. He said he would write down the prices on a piece of paper. Since he wasn't making an attempt to solve the problem (writing down "prices" doesn't confirm the menu or the register), I opted to dial the customer service number that's posted in the window.
Edgar disappears from the drive through window and ANSWERS THE PHONE.
I tell him I need a corporate customer service number, and he scrawls the numbers you see pictured.
I'm flabbergasted by the entire thing, and say "You've got to be f@cking kidding me." Edgar says I can leave, either under my own power or with a police escort. I tell him I'm fine with him calling the police. I take the pictures of both guys in the drive through, at which point Edgar decides to lecture me about his rights.
"You can stop recording me. You don't have the right to record me."
I explain to Edgar that the rights he's asserting only apply if I'm profiting from his image. He says, "Yeah, well you're arguing with a 19 year old kid about food."
We went to Wendy's.
Save yourself the hassle. The employees at this McDonald's don't care about customer service. I wouldn't be surprised if McDonald's' Loss Prevention department gets involved...
Read moreI was originally going to give this location a 5 star Review for the first individual I dealt with. My order was simple, a 10 piece meal with a large Coke, a 10 peice happy meal with milk and apple slices. the individual who took my money was great, which is why I was originally going to leave a 5 star review after that, the lady who I interacted with who handed me my food was terrible, she hand my drink I informed her as she handed me a medium that I don't think that That was correct, it didn't look like a large. She informed me that it was a medium and I let her know that it was supposed to be a large period she asked for my receipt and told me that I ordered a medium and handed me the receipt and my drink back period I asked to speak to a manager period even the manager didn't seem to know how to treat this situation. As she looked like a deer in headlights period To put it simply, the lady at the pick up window was oblivious in how to treat customers when they tell them that they made a mistake period after causing the ruckus about her. Giving me the wrong drink. Also, they never gave me my 10 piece meal during all of this so i had to ask for the rest as they were staring at me wondering why im still there.. The manager hands me a free small fry card To try to make it better with me and then hands me the large drink that Was owed to me from the lady at the window only to find out as I get home She gives me Diet Coke... cool eff me.. I would never go back to this location again, I never will and I hope no one else does travel to this location to put your hard-earned money into just to be...
