"By using one of our for-here mugs or bringing in your own, you can help reduce waste and take care of the planet." Except that, for some BS reason(s), this location wastes a plastic cup to measure the drink out before pouring it into your personal cup OR even one of their own for-here mugs. When I asked the lady about it, she said it's to make sure the drinks are consistent. When I asked if they also wasted of cup to make it in their own mugs for-here use, she said they do. Even though the mug I brought in to use has both milliliters and ounces listed on the inside, she explained to me that they're useless to her because she doesn't know how the lines on the Starbucks' cups that she uses corresponds to either milliliters or ounces. How can she not? Is it seriously not provided information in some training document of some sort? When I told her about the dozens of other locations I've been to across the US which have never wasted a cup and were able to make the same drink I always get and have it always tasting consistent (I watch every time to make sure they use soy instead of dairy), she said, well, they must eye ball it or something and we can't do that because of our management. BS. Disgusting. Unacceptable. Even if it didn't taste exactly the same, I'd rather have that then waste a plastic cup every time I go to a Starbucks for a coffee. She said she'd been working for Starbucks for 15 years. IN 15 YEARS THEY HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT HOW TO MAKE A SIMPLE ICED COFFEE WITHOUT WASTING PLASTIC CUPS IN ORDER TO MEASURE IT OUT?! FIFTEEN YEARS?! If this location is so incapable, I imagine there are others. Starbucks needs to give ALL locations some sort of metal, reusable measuring cup so that places like this one who "can't" go against "proper" procedures can ACTUALLY reduce waste.

Clean, speedy, but unreasonable. During COVID, the condiments are not set out for the public. Typically (during pre-COVID times), there are three little containers (like salt shakers) with vanilla, cinnamon, and chocolate powders. When I order a grande Pike, I put about 1/2” of half-and-half, a few sugars, and top it off with a small sprinkle of vanilla. Since the condiments are not out, I have to ask for those items. I only have trouble when I get to the vanilla powder. During COVID, most Starbucks restaurants have been telling me they don’t have the regular vanilla powder. But then they say, “But we have some vanilla bean powder. We can sprinkle a bit on there for you.” And then they do. This place didn’t offer me an alternative. They just said, “We don’t have the vanilla powder.” So I said, “Do you have vanilla bean powder?” The barista said, “Yes.” “Just a sprinkle please. Just a pinch.” “Well,” he said, “that’ll be a fifty cent charge.” “But all the other stores do it for me. I just need a pinch.” “Fifty cents.” “Really?” I just sorta stared at him, dumbfounded. “Really.” I made a few more hints, said it a few different ways, but he wouldn’t budge. So I didn’t get the fifty cent upgrade.

Ordered a venti chai latte in my 20 oz personal cup. Normally I have to take a few sips so liquid will not spill out when I put the lid on, but not this morning because there was PLENTY of room. Not a brilliant way to start the day. 😡 I know you're struggling, Starbucks, and I really want things to work out for you so I can keep my addiction alive, but visibly skimping isn't how you keep customers. Cut your corners another way. Edit to respond to the company's response: thank you for paying attention to these reviews. Not every company does and seeing a response, even if bot- or AI-generated, is encouraging. I am aware of the Starbucks policy to remake a beverage for a dissatisfied customer. I don't mind making that request when the order is incorrect, such as being iced when it was supposed to be hot, which has happened before. But when the barista looks me in the eye as she hands me my drink, knowing it is the correct beverage but not the correct size, suggesting that I ask her to remake the entire thing when there are people in line waiting for their drinks and thus inconveniencing other customers by making them wait longer is asking me to be someone I do not want to be. I should not have to do that.

Prepare to be forgotten. (After seeing this is a common thing among other reviewers, I've edited this down from 2 to 1 star)

I used to like this place up until today. Sure, the service was basic, neither exemplary nor offensive, but the drive through was covered. You'd usually get something +1/-1 from the baristas too. Either a nice word or they'd actually gripe about Starbucks as a whole which could be amusing.

I'd like to think I'm a good customer. I typically come in on my breaks from work and always tip 20% when I have cash on me.

After driving up, I was told in a friendly tone that the lady would be right back with me. After 5 minutes I knew I wasn't tipping. After another car pulled up behind me, I figured I'd been forgotten and should have just said something sooner.

Well, when I did say something, the exchange started off with me saying (laughing a bit as I said it to be disarming), "So, at some point does the coffee become free?". Things devolved from there. The same voice that had told me she would be back with me told me it was so strange that her headset didn't let her know I was there. I straight up called her out on it and said it was funny since it was working earlier when she said she would be right back with me.

If she had simply said something like "Sorry, I forgot" I would have been fine. To be lied to after waiting patiently though? If it's so critical that a barista pay attention to when they have people wanting to hand them money, then this one was incredibly negligent in her duties for her chosen occupation.

Long story short, I told them I was driving through without ordering anything and the tone she used when saying, "We'll see you again soon next time" was ANYTHING BUT friendly to my ears at this point.

No worries, there are a handful of other coffee places near my work. It's just a drop of water from the ocean, but this location has completely lost my business and I will not frequent it again because of...

I am daily customer with Starbucks and at least 4 days a week at this location . Over a week ago I ordered a custom drink: a venti Frappuccino with double shots of espresso, 1 pump of white mocha and extra salted cold foam . It’s $6 something for that drink . Today I ordered exactly the same one but the young lady charged me over $10 for it . I told her I did order this drink before and the price like I said above but she kept saying it’s called espresso Frappuccino which she already charged me over $6 for that specific one on menu and added extra charge for what I customized my drink . I didn’t order a specific Frappuccino on the menu , I ordered a custom drink which I don’t want to add extra stuffs for my drink, so what she made an order for me that meant I had more than 2 shots of espresso (which i didn’t want more than 2 )and everything I asked to make a new drink was charged as additional stuffs. I tried to explain to her but seemed like she refused to get it . I was upset but I still took the drink tho .Because I work close by so I would like to support this location plus I like most of people work there ,they are always so nice and friendly but this girl . I like my custom drink flavor but I don’t want to come back here to...
