I tried going to the Old Town Portland location but they were wrapped around the building so I didn't stop. Traveling through I stopped here and what a difference. Great big parking lot and able to walk in and get donuts without a long wait. It was glorious. I've been waiting to try these donuts for some time and did not disappoint. They are huge. I purchased a Maple Bacon, Paradise, Mango Tango and a Banana Cream Pie. I do wish the Maple Bacon had some type of filling so wouldn't get that one again but the special one Paradise that they had with pineapple and coconut Bavarian cream was the best donut I've ever had and will be dreaming about it until the chance I get to have one again (not from ths area). The 2nd fav of the Mango Tango. Great tangy filling. And the Banana was good but needed a bit more filling. All and all would definitely recommend this location. Fun donuts some x-rated! Easy in and out. Friendly staff. Neat atmosphere. Even the bathroom has donut wallpaper. Just a cool stop!!!

Voo doo has became the underrated doughnut place because of how many people from Portland talk about it being overrated. They were the first place to really put weird combinations like bacon or cereal on doughnuts. No one (at least commercially or in a well known capacity) did it before them. They changed how people looked at doughnuts and created a market for higher end, creative, more expensive doughnuts in Portland. They are a pioneer in this regard and get overlooked due to them branching out to other cities and states, as well as how many other doughnut places have popped up to compete. This Vancouver store is great. Wait is never too long and the mobile ordering works great. Staff is one of the friendliest I have ever experienced at a Voo doo Doughnut. The first few weeks one or two of the doughnuts were off consistency wise from other places but this has since been corrected. As far as Doughnut places go in Vancouver this is probably my second favorite spot.

Your review of an establishment should be a reflection of their quality and services to you, and I guarantee there are a million other Doughnut places better than Voodoo but you don't see me complaining like a 5 year old about "unfairness". Grow up. If other Doughnut places are so good then write a positive review there and let people decide on their own. Your bad review makes a terrible reflection in the kind of people who like "other places" and makes me want to promote Voodoo over yours even more. Not here for your petty opinions, I'm here for factual evidence of a quality business. Competition in buisesses helps business growth and development. Familiarize yourself with what a Monopoly is if your even remotely seeking to be unbiased. With that, the doughnuts are good, we were greeted warmly by the employees, it was very clean and welcoming, prices were fair, and I had a wonderful experience in and out of the establishment. Was this that hard?

Doesnt live up to the hype. Heard great things and so I got the "Portland Cream" It wasnt "bad" but It was not even as good as one from a chain like dunkin or krispy. I pretty much only ever get Boston cream filled so I have had hundreds in my lifetime Its my go to and I know how they should taste. This one didnt have any cream till the last few bites more than halfway through. I guess I started from the wrong side. And the actual dough was ridiculously over sweetened, like I get that its a dessert food but the dough was borderline painful to eat because of how sugary it was. The dough was also unlike other boston creams' ive had previously its hard to describe exactly but the dough did not seem as fresh as it was supposed to have been, not stale per se, but not the texture I had anticipated, this is super subjective to me so perhaps others wouldnt mind the dough texture. Apparently it had been made in the last 30 min or so, so its not like it was stale or old. Just a but worse than I had been hoping for.

I think if I do go again I should get a more exotic flavor, I figured I would try my favorite standard doughnut first but unfortunately i got a dud. I will give it another shot, but as it stands from my experience I would not recommend these based on the price to satisfaction ratio. At least for the "Portland cream" I think I would be more satisfied from a safeway doughnut especially because it would be half the price. Not that Voodoo is exorbitantly expensive, but its certainly not a budget price. For the price, I expected to be impressed, not...

We love voodoo doughnuts everytime we go to Portland we go to the original location downtown Portland and try to visit different locations, this location was a beautiful location clean the lady was so sweet helping us its just that apple fritter was the upmost worst apple fritter I've had in my life very little apple when they are usually packed and there was no cinnamon every fritter has cinnamon n loads of apples, my sons a double chocolate one he said it taste like bad flour and it was very dry, my other sons I believe he got a Diablo it had a small squirt of filling and all bread. It's just extremely disappointing because we've gone to alot of voodoo locations for years and every other locations lived up to its reputation and this 1 was just not. I hate to see this company lose a location due to lack of love every other locations put into their doughnuts. Don't get me wrong the lady who helped us was amazing just the product was just not, I'm just saying don't bring this location down because nowadays ppl do get disappointed by the stuff they buy to eat and make scenes, I just hope this helps this location up their game on making those delicious doughnuts 🤤. Wwe would have gone back to replace and let her know but we were on our way to the airport we were running late...

A young man by the name of William waited on us and made our experience AWESOME! The vegan donuts were very good and the place is immaculate. William was so attentive and explained each donut carefully. He was patient and helpful as the kids made their selection. We ate there, used the photo booth, and night after shirt. It was really fun. He made the donuts all sound so good that we took a box home as well to try some other varieties. I Our toddlers are on the spectrum and William treated them with such respect and patience, always smiling and making it fun. Sometimes ordering is an ordeal at places but he made everything so nice. I want to compliment William because I noticed that he took the same care with each customer. A man in a wheelchair ordered after us and William took the time to not only talk to him and help him with his order but then walked with him to the door and opened the door for him while laughing and talking. It was such a natural interaction. After we left, I called and asked for his name because I was so impressed I thought he deserved a special mention of appreciation. Other businesses take note, customer service DOES matter. We will be repeat customers. He earned...
