I placed an online order at 10:20 Wednesday, through my app, got there at 10:25 as I was down the road. Pulled up to the speaker & waited the gal on the speaker said there were technical issues. Waited about 5 mins no problem. Then she checked me in and the car in front of me she was telling them they didn’t have breakfast and they just told her. So I park go in and they were scrambling and everyone looked stressed, the manager came and talked to me and said it’s been a crazy morning and they were short people, if I wanted something else. I told her if it’s quick cause I had to be to work. I wait 10 mins see them making orders for the drive thru and I left, I had 20 mins to get to work & drop my daughter off. I called and told her I would just like a refund, she said ok I can do that would you like another meal too and asked when I could go in. I asked if she could just refund it to my card, since I live across town by 164th. She said I had to come in. So I told her ok I’ll try to go tomorrow (Thursday) couldn’t make it so I called, a different manager said it was fine and I could go in whenever was convenient for me, as they put it in a log. Ok cool, I go in Friday morning to get the refund and the replacement meals. The manager (a guy) I now tell the incident to & why I was there to get the refund & replacement meals, seemed to question me as if I was lying and checking dates. I had the order receipt and it’s on my mobile app. He gave me the refund and said he would give me a cookie. Refused to replace the order. My daughter and I didn’t get food when ordered, I went to work and she went home hungry, had to drive back 15 mins to get a refund, and no food. Horrible customer service. I get the issues that arise with the industry as I’ve done it for many years in the past, but this is lacking a lot. Not to mention he came inside without a mask, and came to the register and was talking to me without a mask too, pretty sure masks are mandatory. It’s a damn shame. Read moreI keep seeing YouTube videos comparing American sizes, to European sizes. I used to love Wendy's. Your fries, should be awesome. Unfortunately, quality fries of that style, require an iq above 90 to achieve. This style of fries requires precise timing, which is never achieved. They are cold, pale and flaccid. They do not even slightly match the advertising. They are garbage. Literally 45 seconds longer in the deep-fryer, would make a world of difference. It never crossed your little brains. The quality of service is fastly approaching garbage. It is also unfortunate that you, were the 1st to cut our drink sizes in 1/2. Screw you, bring back the American large. I didn't feel sorry for us. I felt sorry for them. I'm absolutely positive that my trips to Wendy's, have dropped at least 50%. The burgers get smaller, the drinks get smaller. The fries are cold, and taste like they were swept off the cooler floor. We don't need novelty. We need quality. Give us the same quality food, you did b4 Dave Thomas died, or screw you. I remember that food. I haven't been to Wendy's in months. This trend will continue. I used to visit weekly. It is the middle of July. I will return in the middle of September. If I get a half a large Coke, cold fries, and an even smaller, pathetic burger, I'll be done. Screw you, once and for all. "Where's the beef?" Where's the quality....
Read moreThis is going to be my #1 Go-To Wendy's from now on!! I stop here at least once a week when I'm on this side of town at Jefe's to get my kids' nuggets, fries, and lemonade. Today, before pulling into the drive-thru I ran inside to use the restroom. It was THE cleanest restroom of ANY fast-food place I've been in!!! While I was washing my hands I was listening to the banter and laughter of the employees, it brought a huge smile to my face. When I came out, I stood and watched them for a moment. They were working hard, like a well-oiled machine, yet passing the time with laughter. They were so funny! I wanted to jump in. I went out to my car and family and we went through the drive-thru. The wait wasn't long and we were greeted with a nice big smile! The food was fresh, they always have THE BEST fries, and everything was there....well KINDA.🤔 That's where they lost a star, but it's something fixable. I eat Keto, so I ordered 3 slices of bacon. I thought the joke was on me when I found a dinky folded-up wrapper in a bag! In the wrapper were 3 SMALL pieces of bacon, put together would equal 1 full slice of bacon! I'm talking 3.5 inches long each, if that!! So I searched the bags for the missing slices of bacon! Nope! So, deducting a star for leaving me without my adequate...
