Taco Time — Restaurant in Veneta

We apparently were helped by a new employee in the drive thru we normally go to. When we got to the window she quoted us the cost and my wife asked if they were still giving a Military Discount. She didn't know and asked someone else. The reply was, "We don't give a Military Discount but we give a free order of Cinnamon Crisps. We acknowledged and thanked them for the order and paid out bill. After being at the window for a few minutes, they asked us what we ordered and we went down the entire order again. We waited another few minutes and they AGAIN asked us what we ordered and we told them again. Another lady, who appeared to be training the person who took our order, asked us if we would go park and they would bring us our food, which we did. We parked for AT LEAST 10 minutes until the girl waiting on us brought us our food, minus our drinks, straws, napkins and salsa. She said she would bring our drinks and did a few minutes later. She brought the drinks with straws but no salsa that we had asked for. She said she would bring salsa and took off before we could tell her we had no napkins. I walked to the front door and caught her as she was exiting with our salsa and asked for some napkins. I took the napkins and salsa and napkins and brought them back to my car. We started to eat our food in the car and then found out that instead of 2 diet Cokes, we got either Root Beer, Dr. Pepper or some other kind of bad tasting swill. One of the worse experiences I've ever had! I went through the drive thru and the young man taking my order had no knowledge of the menu and made himself sound completely incompetent. I got up to the drive thru window and sat for about 5-6 minutes with no one inside even acknowledging me. Finally I went inside expecting to see one person working or to see they are very busy inside...totally not the case. They have one older couple inside eating and at least 4 people making food/walking around aimlessly. I told the person making the food that I had expected to see one person working inside since the service is so slow...his response "it's only been 6 minutes" hello! It's a drive thru and drive thru means quick! I was then treated poorly by the other guy and basically had my change/receipt thrown to me. When asked if I wanted hot sauce I said "yes please" only to have a handful thrown in the bag and then the bag pushed towards me almost falling off the counter! Horrible horrible horrible customer service and I can guarantee I will...

Have you ever had food that was prepared by angry, entitled people with no passion , no interest, and no love? Well, if that's what you like, this is the place for you. This is is my first negative review ever, by the way. They got our order wrong, and copped attitude about fixing it... Basically, we paid $50 for two bags of squish. Our dogs wouldn't even touch it. Really. The crowing glory was a side of black beans which was literally 2 tablespoons of beans in a container. We asked them if there was a mistake, but they said that was the portion size for a side of beans. Most of the delicious-looking vegan items on their website were not available, and they seemed genuinely disinterested in helping plant-based people.
