Wings Asian Bistro — Restaurant in Vernon Township

Was originally excited for this place seeing how good the rating was and how close it is to the resorts. And with the lack of Asian options in the area we decided to try it out. But after the visit I would advise others to reconsider options

To start it off we come in seated and waited 20 minutes and had to wave down someone to get water. Placed an order and waited another 40 minutes until we had to wave them down again to ask about our order. And they finally told us that they were busy with take out orders.

I get places being busy but there’s nothing mentioned to us as customers and was left guessing. The waiter seemed really occupied with a table from what it looks like was friends..

But what made it worse was the food quality was horrendous. Large menu and fancy flair but just done so poorly, shrimp mixed with flour or something, that you can see the shrimp start breaking down for the Tom yum soup, the ocean curry which cost nearly $20 had 2 tiny slices of scallop 2 what it looks like to be frozen mussels and the terrible shrimp again in a small plate. After waiting so long and getting that kind of quality I was severely disappointed. We were so hungry and decided to just bite the bullet and finish it considering how little and bad quality it is, my gf and I cannot stand paying this much for such a joke of a dish.

I don’t mind paying more for good food or waiting if it’s being communicated to the guests there’s a back order in the kitchen. Spent over $60 dollars and went ahead to Burger King afterwards to fill up my stomach with a 3rd...

By far the worst place I visited. Not too sure how they got such great reviews but I'll keep it as honest and to the point as possible:

Service: we had an older female lady that barely spoke English wait us. We were quickly seated and handed menus only to ask what we want to drink 15 minutes in after being seated.

Food: We ordered salmon rolls, 5 hibachi dinners, and grilled octopus.

Salmon rolls were like any other. Steak hibachi dinners which are cooked in the back were just pure fat pieces. Scallops tasted fishy. NEVER ORDER THEOR GRILLED OCTOPUS. It was fridge cold with baby octopus and the head still on it. On top of it all, the sauce tasted like teriyaki sauce you'd buy st Costco and drizzle on. Took a bite and asked them to take it away. Food also came 30 minutes after ordering our entree. Thankfully, no one got sick.

In total, we waited about 45 minutes for our food and drinks and the food WAS THE WORSR IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE and I've been around the block. I always say that we need to support small businesses but this place is amazing solid no.

I WOULD NEVER COME BACK HERE AS IT WAS THE WORST FOOD IVE EVER HAD NOR WOULD I EVER RECOMMED THIS PLACE TO ANYONE EVEN AFTER PAYING...

I was there today. There were couple table dining in. I ordered and waited 20 minutes long. So I asked the waitress hope they could cook my food a little bit faster. She told me they can’t they don’t make the food right away after people ordered. And there are few delivery came in before I ordered so 20 minutes is not that bad. 😅😅I understand that but she doesn’t have to tell me that. I don’t know what kinda attitude she’s carrying. When I got my food which was only 3 pieces sashimi and one roll. The sashimi came with uncared cut shape. More like a piece of fish that they used after cut for some roll. It’s not a slice you could say. It’s a two finger wide one finger thick shape. Which is different than all the sashimi that I have ever had. I won’t come here ever again in my life.
