I hate leaving less than stellar reviews but this was not very enjoyable. Went for brunch around 11:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning. The parking lot was full and there were cars double parked blocking people. We waited about 10 minutes and two spots opened up.
Once inside there was a short line with two staff working the counter. A young lady showed up as a third staff member and the line moved pretty quickly. We placed the following orders: Taylor ham an egg with cheese on a Kaiser roll Taylor ham and egg no cheese on sourdough Taylor ham and egg no cheese on sourdough Cold brew with gingerbread flavor. The guy making the coffee said no gingerbread flavor so instead I got brown sugar. The coffee was fine tasted great
After about 10 minutes sitting there waiting, One of the employees came up to where we were sitting and said they were out of Taylor Ham. These are the changes that we made: Bacon and egg with cheese on a Kaiser roll Bacon and egg on sourdough Chicken and egg no cheese on sourdough
After about another 10 minutes this is what we got: Bacon and egg on sourdough Bacon and egg on sourdough Chicken and egg with cheese on a Kaiser roll
The eggs seemed like the ones you get from dunkin' donuts. Didn't seem like fresh eggs. They were rectangular and the edges were hard and chewy. The bacon was good. The sourdough bread was good. The chicken was dry and the cheese was not good. The cheese should have never been on the sandwich with...
Read moreThe Daily Bean is a historic building, which is why it has a rustic feel. Artwork is displayed and for sale. There is wifi (ask for password-doesnt appear to be posted anywhere). Indoor seating AND outdoor seating is available. Some of the inside seating is in the back through a hallway. Games and free libraries are available clearly making this cafe a "third space". But the minimal seating feels less workspace friendly and more for gathering and chatting with friends.
The drink I had, green tea chai, was excellent. The food is reasonably priced, but it tasted disappointing. The bbq sauce tastes like it's straight from a bottle and the chicken had a weird frozen/canned taste to it. There is one unisex bathroom. So there can be a wait to wash your hands or use the restroom.
Tl;dr: I'd pass on this location for food. Drinks are great. The third space is built for meeting with friends or reading individually, not so much for...

My wife and I we looking for a place to eat breakfast. Did not wand a fast food place. Checked Google and thee pictures caught my eyes. Decided to give it a try.
Big mistake.
Order was simple. 2 Bacon, eggs and cheese on croissants and 1 regular coffee.
It took between 15 to 20 minutes to get our breakfast sandwiches.
Sandwiches were a joke. Croissants were burnt. Cheese looked like orange plastic, not even melted, bacon was cold and the eggs.
The eggs consisted of 2 slices of a hard boiled egg.
Both of our sandwiches were made by slicing 1 hard boiled egg and divided in 2 sandwiches.
15 to 20 minutes for 2 nasty, odd looking, smelly, COLD sandwiches. They have EVERYTHING pre-made.
They just prepare them and "HEAT" them up on a panini press.
And after eating them me and my wife felt sick for the rest of day.
First and last.
Stay away...
