I typically enjoy most locations of Carraba's and its one of the few chains I will indulge in. I got a curbside order on 5/12/24. Young lady that brought the food was great, and I showed up promptly. The food was warm, and I was having a typical experience I have come to enjoy. We first enjoyed the bread, warm and good like we were there. Caesar salads were fine, although the croutons were soft and spongey. Likely kept in the fridge on the to go salads. Bleeeh. Next we shared the fried mozzarella appetizer. Would not recommend to go, they accrued condensation in the to go box they were packed in, and they were not enjoyable at all. No problem, move on to the main courses. I got the Fettuccine Weesie, and she got the Mezzaluna. Her Mezzaluna was pathetic. The cream was not reduced whatsoever. Soggy ravioli in heavy cream...it was like cereal would be. My Fettuccine Weesie was the same way. Had zero flavor and the shrimp was so overcooked. Neither of us enjoyed our meal. Whoever worked saute the night shift on 5/12...bruh learn how to cook. I understand its busy, but if you can't manage to take 2 mins to reduce the cream in our meals, you should maybe rethink your career choice. Management.....expedite your window and inspect your food before it goes out. What we got should have never got to the customer. After the incredible disappointment in our entrees, we looked forward to dessert. She enjoyed the Canoli Cake, while I thought the Sogno Di Cioccolata was just meh. My first time trying that there. Nothing wrong with it, just wasn't for me. As far as Carraba's goes, I'm usually a fan. But this is the third time we've eaten here since coming to the area, and I will not return anytime soon sadly. The other 2 trips were in the restaurant, and cliff notes of complaints were all pertaining to the quality of how the food was cooked. Service and atmosphere were both, again, adequate. In this economy, quality has to match price points. The kitchen here is probably the worst I've seen...
Read moreMy co-worker demonstrated an act of kindness today by treating me to lunch this afternoon at this Carrabbas location. From the outset, our waiter was very impatient, curt and overall did present with courteous customer service. My co-worker and I were not rude toward this waiter. He was asked if his day was going well. He behaved as if we were annoying him. I have worked in the restaurant and customer service industry previously for many years. I understand how to treat people with the utmost respect. Being respectful was taught to me at an early age. When I asked to speak to a manager due to such disdain behavior toward us, the first person I explained our dissatisfaction to, made excuses for the waiter. She said, "He's our bartender and he's just overwhelmed." The restaurant was not busy as it was approximately 11:48AM when my coworker and I arrived. dining patrons were sparse. I informed the waitress who identified herself as NOT being the manager, that there is no excuse for rudeness. I was there in the capacity of a paying lunch guest, not there begging for food. And if I were begging for food, I still should have been treated with decency. My co-worker and I noticed a patron that was at the bar observing us as I explained my dissatisfaction with the service. As we headed to my vehicle, this same guy drove by us slowly and spewed out profanity and racial slurs toward us. Would he have said these awful words to one African American male & a Hispanic male?? My co-worker is Mexican. WHAT A COWARD!!!! A fine example of racism & denigration all because our waiter was disrespectful, ill-mannered and annoyed!!!! #ruined my...
Read moreAs an international airline pilot my wife & I have eaten at a lot of places in the USA and around the world, and occasionally leave reviews for outstanding experiences as well as horrible experiences, but haven't left a review for a local (home) restaurant until now.
We eat at Carrabbas several times a week when we're home and have come to know everyone there, enjoy every visit, and have an awesome experience. We are usually served by Kia, a nice, friendly, and very knowledgeable young lady who is great (when working alone or training new-hires.) All the servers and managers are friendly and attentive, and make us feel like family. In fact, we call them our "extended family" because it's always fun to visit, talk & laugh with everyone, and enjoy a great meal. If there's ever a need or problem they're quick to make us happy.
We like everything on the menu but have about a dozen favorites that are healthier (soup & salad, seafood, and chicken entrees, and Alvin's pizzas are superb!) When it's busy we sit at the Pasta Bar or the Pizza Bar which is always fun and quick.
This Carrabbas is our favorite by far. When family & friends visit us they always want to return to this restaurant because the people and food are so good. We even pre-ordered our entire Thanksgiving dinner from Carrabbas this year which saved us time, work, and money, plus everyone enjoyed it and my wife was able to relax & visit instead of working like a...
