Enchiladas rancheros is a favorite and it was prepared very well ,the carnitas were excellent . The house margaritas are very good . The rice was tasteless but the entrees made up for it and the churros and ice cream dessert were wonderful not greasy at all. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. The decor is very nice. EDIT: 2nd visit was even better , my husband had chicken flautas and he said they are amazing and we both got house margaritas and they are huge (couldn't finish mine) and beautiful garnish of orange , Lime and colored salt. The food was great as last time as was the server EDIT Apr 30,2025 this place went downhill so fast . We were seated in a booth by the door which was okay until a customer with a screaming child was seated in the booth behind us , it was so loud my eye started twitching. My husband said his verde sauce had no flavor and tasted watered down so I gave him one of my quesabirra tacos and we both sat there picking all the fat out so we could eat them , that is the first time I have found fat in birra anywhere. Before we had shared the churros dessert and really enjoyed it so when we finally got a servers attention we ordered it .While we waited we got to hear the vacuum running which made me feel like we were not very important customers after not even considering us when seating a screaming child next to us in a huge almost empty restaurant. The churros came and they were greasy and flavorless and the worst $9 dessert I have ever eaten. We both agreed this was...
Read moreWe decided to try their Mexican food due to the reviews posted. We ordered take out and what a Bad Decision that was! We ordered take out to The Tune of $68.00, ok… told us it would be ready in about 10 minutes.. that was the first sign. When we arrived in less than 10 minutes I saw the bags sitting on the table that was the 2nd Sign.. Looking around the restaurant at peak dinner time on a Saturday night, it was maybe 25% Full, 3rd Sign. Returned home to find there were no Tortilla's For our meals. Called them and their answer was “Sorry I’ll tell the Chef” and hung up, 4th sign! Well the food was Horrible. The Ghost Quesidia was incredibly dry, and Stale! The Verde Steak that was suppose to be cooked med. rare, was way over cooked and old like it was yesterdays left overs shoe leather! This food had been sitting around for sometime!!! The Taco Salad was Completely Bland w/ No Freshness or Flavor to it and Mushy!! The rice they gave us was drier than dry and brittle, horrible! The fried beans were tasteless and rather disgusting. Needless to say we couldn’t eat most of the meal. In the trash it went! I can now see Why this place had few people in it at peak diner time. Unless they change things up, “like everything”, there will be another Vacant restaurant in the near future. I hate leaving reviews but we were so disgusted and a big...
Read moreThis was our first visit. There was a very nice greeting to start. They accommodated our large party of 7, with extra chips and salsa. They had wheelchair accessibility for my aunt and there was plenty of space for my toddler to be in a highchair. The restaurant decor looked new and was beautiful! We had a variety of different foods, including 3 appetizers and dessert. The ceviche was so amazing and fresh! The chicharrones were hot and fresh! My wife had the shrimp soup and it was fresh, aromatic, and had rice on the bottom. They catered to my aunt's strict dietary needs and she was very happy. Everyone enjoyed their entrees! Save room for churros!! They were fluffy and delicious!!! We even met the owner and he was very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely choose Clase Azul next time we...
