Mai Thai Bistro — Restaurant in Vero Beach

Took us too long to get here! a charming setting and offers outside seating and a full bar. We tried a little bit of this and that and everything was DELICIOUS. Appies included calamari, with a wonderful sauce, were crisp and lite nuggets of some of the freshest Ive eaten. Both the pot stickers and the steamed dumplings had such a tasty filling, with a lightly toasted coating on the stickers and the steamed melted in your mouth. Shrimp with noodles was ordered by a friend, she called it a 4 Spicy! And loved it. An order of several varieties of sashimi was ordered by another friend who ate every bite and agreed was also the freshest. Red Curry Duck at a hot level was enjoyed, with huge pieces of duck and a flavorful spicy curry sauce. My favorite was the duck with pineapple fried rice again offered a large breast of duck which was prepared Perfectly crisp and so juicy paired with such flavorful fried rice. Tonight’s Fresh and flavorful dining experience was enhanced by the attentive and accommodating Laura, who was so pleasant and had a great sense of humor! The bar offered a nice cocktail selection and the bartenders were quick to serve. So happy we finally made it here. Portion sizes were beyond ample and prices were reasonable. What an experience we will be back!

The service was great the atmosphere was busy but also I was amazed at how much staff they had. The food is absolutely to die for! We had a Dragon Roll between my wife and I to start as an appetizer and they're just weren't enough pieces of it it was a huge role but I could have been two of them by myself. Our waitress cat was very kind and attentive she took her order for drinks and food straight away our Dragon Roll came out and then the pad thai for me and the pineapple fried rice for my wife. Both of us made it about 2/3 of the way through and had to take the rest to go. We could not waste a spoonful of this deliciousness. We are in town for the Under The Oaks art show just across the bridge here in Vero this coming weekend, Booth 188 if you'd like to stop by. This is our new favorite Thai restaurant! Everything was beautifully presented, upscale with some fusion, and so delicious! We got the Tom Kha soup without chicken and added extra mushrooms and it was the best Tom Kha soup we've had in Vero - maybe the best we've ever had anywhere! It was so rich and perfectly flavorful. Dragon roll and JB rolls were great and so beautifully plated! The Crabster Rangoon was lightly crispy, perfectly fried and stuffed full of creamy crab and lobster! Wow, so good! The chicken wings were good sized and actually juicy! So many wings I find in Vero are overcooked and dry and these were perfectly cooked and the coating was light and crispy. The Thai Donuts tasted exactly like the ones I had on the streets of Bangkok! They were so light, pillow-y soft, and crispy on the outside. And I love the colorful arrangement of planted flowers all around the patio! The service was excellent. Lots of people came to check on us throughout our meal and we were able to speak Thai with them! We felt like we were back in Thailand! The restaurant is just amazing! We can't wait to go back!
