I want to provide this review by qualifying a few things 1. I have reviewed Italian restaurants all over the country for over 45 years . My family has had successful Italian restaurants in 5 different states over the past 60 years as Uncles ,Cousins , and brothers have left the business by retiring ,selling the businesses or dying . 2. I m not critical just honest from a standpoint of quality of food and not service because service even bad service is overcome by food quality and taste . The current best Italian restaurant in the USA is Cafe Martorano s and I use this restaurant as a bench mark because service is always consistently good but it’s The FOOD that brings people back . The service industry creates a lot of issues in related to food and novice food critics overlook mediocre food if service is great. In New York for instance the New York !! Attitude can immediately turn off people’s appetite . 3 . I look at food not the service ,atmosphere to evaluate the food. Take Our Sir Down whatever I am interested in quality taste authenticity of the food . So, that being said I don’t expect anything great to come out of Vero Beach Florida food wise even though it’s average high net worth resident May or may not have a palate that is mature . So , I have tried food at every Italian restaurant in town and the food is mediocre and The Garage is no exception Scale of 1 to 10 about a 3 because they used cheap cheeses , the pie was ordered take out and was picked up 3 minutes after it was completed and it was warm It was greasy and warm No Way It Was freshly made . I don’t want to review the other Pizza places because they are...

I came here in a Saturday at 5 PM and thankfully it wasn’t as super busy as I thought it would be but then afterwards it was getting busy to the point patrons had to form a line outside.
Ordered the meatball appetizers and I was so impressed! The meatballs were cooked well and the sauce had to gentle kick to it. I do believe that this recipe is one of the best ones I had. I strongly recommend you start with it.
As for the pizza, ny party and I decided to build our own. We went with a ricotta creme (white sauce) for our base and topped it with chicken, mushrooms, black olives and onions accompanied by some hot honey. Every bite was delicious and the pizza wasn’t burnt, it was charred.
Staff were super friendly and the ambience was great. Not too loud and place was clean.
Overall this spot has some great flavors...

I have eaten at Garage many times and I can say they have consistently down pat. Service is always very prompt and polite. The pizza and accompaniments are very good. The food is hand made with fresh ingredients when you order.
After a “Minus the Trip” pizza and salad, a slice of real “Key Lime” pie is just right to “finish the trip”. Hint, ask for your slice of pie first, apparently it sells out quickly. I missed out before.
The kitchen is open and guests can watch the Chef in action from just about any seat in the restaurant.
You’ll find Garage Pizza as quaint, and as quality of a pizza place as I have. I’ll...
