Panda Express — Restaurant in Victoria

This place is in desperate need of new managers.

I've been there three times, all 3 I had issues.

The worst time, I walked in at 1pm on a Saturday, 3 employees were having a conversation, one of them looked at me and asked what I was ordering, I said: super greens please. Guy said they didn't have it. We kept looking at each other and finally one of the other 2 employees said "ok I got it" and walked away, the guy then said: "is going to take 15 minutes"

Like they ran out and nobody made more of it? If this was 30 minutes before closing I would've understood but not mid day on a Saturday.

Another time, I placed an order online thinking that would take care of the issues, 5 min later I got a message saying the order was ready for pickup, drove to the restaurant and they were still preparing the shrimp, not close to being ready, why? Why said your food is ready almost right away and then take 15 min with me waiting there?

The other day my wife asked if I wanted to go there and said "no, they always have something going on". She said: "if you go there expecting something to go wrong is usually not so bad" I laughed...

I always like the food. I appreciate that you see the prep and such. Can’t hide a whole lot. But my last two visits I was pretty amazed at the lazy staff. The dining room was filthy. Not a clean place to sit. I was there long enough to know someone had plenty of opportunity to clean. One girl slowly walked the distance to retrieve a bin of straws or something. Her attempt to appear to be working was pitiful. She walked by a tray and other trash to and from the kitchen. There were a few things she could have done to be more productive All of the trash cans were flowing over. The lunch crowd was long gone by the time we arrived. I’m sure it’s not a lot of fault on Panda. Generally people have become lazy. No initiative. And finding anyone that wants to be on the payroll at all is difficult these days. It’s extremely frustrating to see workers being paid to do a job and them have actually no idea how to perform.

Another day. Months later. Waiting and waiting on drive thru. If I had not already paid I’d be long gone by now. ...

typically a good place... but today i went there...and EVERYTHING i asked for they were out of. like seriously? Im in managment so i do understand the struggle sometimes.. but this isnt a first....last week..same problem! no sesame chicken...no soy sauce. no egg rolls. no fountain. the food i settled on was fresh and was good. but im just disspointed..when u spend so much on eating out..u expect to get what u are wanting when u go there. period. maybe it will get fixed and i can change my review.. after going thru the drive thru i went to the rest toom. womens restroom had NO SOAP.. went to just do a rinse with water..it wouldnt work.. so i had to go into the mens restroom to wash my hands...which leaves u wondering...how are the women emplees washing their hands?? thats very concearning. hoping i get a reply as to when these issues will be fixed.. good managment could and should have all of this under...
