Usually, we have decent experiences at Outback, not this time.The to-go girl was extremely rude to myself and my children. Apparently, there have been several complaints about staff members here being rude to adults and children. Obviously, it is still a problem. I also tried to call to inform the restraunt of problems and issues with our service and our meal, the night of the issues. We were hung up on both times. We weren't being rude, they just didn't want to deal with it. I left a full complaint in the survey they sent and was informed I'd be contacted by email within 24 to 48 hours. Hasn't happened. This is extremly unproffessional service. Almost as unproffesional as the P.D. You don't see that a lot. We need a refund for at least half, if not all of our meal, as well as the tip we left online for the to-go worker, which they expect when you pay online, upfront. Not just because she was rude, but because she can't double check the food, include requested silverwear, or bring a straw for a kids drink. She didn't even make an exuse or say sorry, she was just mean about it .Like when we called and asked for a straw she acted like it's a big deal that your kid would want a straw for their drink. Her attitude was basically " how dare you?" Also, it needs refunded, because the steak salad was basically a 16 dollar salad that didn't even come with all the toppings and came with 3 very laughable small pieces of steak, that were too tough for my daughter to chew, and looked nothing like the pictures. It was a cat fish salad, I guess. ;) The chicken tenders were also nasty. So half the cook half the to-gos fault but still....I will never tip a to-go worker here again. They can go ask the girl that was working that night for their tip. Obviously, the owner of this establishment and the managment are having some issues with their employees being rude and can't seem to fix it. It's not just me. Read the reviews. Read moreThis breaks my heart. This is only the 2nd sub-par experience in over 100 trips to Outback. Food is still incredible and consistently so. I don't have enough information about what happened before we arrived, so I didn't rate service a lesser trading than a 3. From the looks, one of two things happened. 1. They were slammed by an overwhelming clan of howler monkeys or 2. Seventy-five percent of the staff, just up and walked out the door before we arrived and the only staff left were from grade school. There were so many tables piled with dishs, that the bread came on a plate because they didn't have any bread boards. Several of the staff had time to follow other staff around goofing off and not doing anything productive. I watched and listened as one kid walked all the way over to the manager to give him a hard time about having to bus tables and then follow him all the way to the kitchen chating the whole way (the way I was raised, I would have pitched in and helped carry some stuff instead of just watching and following even if it wasn't my job). When the food came out, I noticed my fries were luke warm (had them with cheese and bacon). When the server came to check, I asked for some fresh ones, please. She asked my daughter if she wanted a refill on her water and she said yes. About 15 mins later, we spotted our server and flagged her down. "Did you get her water?" Her response, "I'm waiting on his fresh fries." Why are you waiting to get her water? One of the other staff then brought water and said, "Sorry, your server was tied up answering questions" from someone. In my head, I'm thinking for 15 mins?!?!? Also, her response was that she was waiting on my fresh fries......so is someone misrepresenting what is going on? Hopefully, this is not the future service to be expected at Outback. If it is, as much as I love their food, I will have to find another business to patronize. Fingers crossed on...
Read moreI ordered online and paid with $20 take away bucks or whatever they call it. I got them from my last $125 two meal to go order that was completely messed up. You would think , seeings this form of payment, that someone would double check the entire order. Not so. Again my order was screwed up. Luckily the steak was raw as usual so I was able to re-cook it to medium rare as ordered. But, no salad dressing, as ordered. Would not have mattered because the salad was obviously old and inedible. Wilted brown chunks of lettuce and tomatoes were beyond ripe. Then no sour cream , as ordered. The loaded toppings was a sprinkle of what appears to be recycled cheese??? This meal is terrible and it seems to be the norm at this location. I have pictures if anyone would like to see them. Apparently they don't care. I have wasted my time and money twice in a row. They waste food because it is inedible. I recommend you try somewhere else. EDIT... They more than made up for it. They basically gave me equal value in gift cards. I used them and the food was perfect. Like it should be. Not sure what changed but now 5 stars! Hot food cooked to order...
