Very disappointing... After years of passing it by, I finally gave it a try today. I ordered a take-home pizza. I paid, and was told it'd take 15 minutes. I waited 45 minutes... I was late picking up my partner from work from across the parking lot, so I had to say something. They couldn't explain what happened. I was asked if I was okay with just taking home some slices that were already made, and I declined. I already told my partner I was going to be late, and I really wanted a fresh made to order pie. Well, I was given an assortment of slices almost immediately anyway. I didn't have the patience to say anything and I just left.
I get home 15 minutes later and it's already cold. Cheese is hard, not hot and stringy. Just sadness. It just wasn't what I ordered. I don't like to whine a lot, but after all the hype, this pizza place is not worth it's praise. And the customer service and ignoring my wishes was another slap in the face. I didn't matter, neither did my satisfaction
I have since gotten a response from the restaurant. I've been told I should be grateful because they gave me a free drink when I asked for one, and that all of my complaints other than the wait time were unreasonable. I'm a diabetic and have rather extreme thirst, so yes, I asked for a water. I've been informed that water is $0.25, so I'm out of line. They should have told me it wasn't free, I'd never heard of paying for a water- but I understand things change. If I knew, I would have paid- but my complaints are invalidated because I got a free water. I'll throw $0.25 in the tip jar next time I walk by to undo my injustices.
They said all of the food court locations charge for water... I don't know, maybe I took advantage of another location, but I had ordered from another place hours earlier. A small item with a water, I was not charged for the water, I just looked at my receipt. But what do I know, maybe I owe them a quarter too.
The person in contact left me a lengthy message, which in the eye of any customer, would be seen as defense and passive. Going to such lengths as telling me that customers bring insulated travel cases to keep their pizza warm, and that once it leaves the building, it's not their problem. They did admit that the wait time was because the worker forgot to put down my pager number- and next time I need to speak up before waiting so long. I understand things get hectic, and I didn't want to pester them- I thought surely giving them time to do things was the polite thing to do, but I can't do anything right. I ensured them not to worry about me being a return nuisance customer. The response solidified my idea of not returning. They even made their response to me public on Facebook, so they can defend themselves- but really it was more of a diss/callout than anything.
I'll just get 2 pizzas from somewhere else for less money, time and hostility. The pizza itself wasn't great, I don't...
Read moreSo they advertise themselves on Uber Eats but they donât actually do Uber eats so my entire family and extended family sat and waited over an hour and half for an order till I called the store. The store was rude, didnât know what I was talking about. I asked to speak to the manager where they proceeded to tell me he could call me back because he went to the show store. The pizza was not ready within 20-25 mins like they said when I decided to do pick up and then drove to pick up. Then they called while I was driving and wanted me to pay and I said I was driving on my way but they wouldnât take my order unless I read my card to them while driving. Sadly, itâs probably not the workers fault for this incident but knowing this would have saved a lot of time. Clearly the owners or management need to communicate this to Uber eats so this doesnât keep happening and really sheds a negative light on...
