Ulta Beauty — Local services in Vienna

By far the worst Ulta I have ever been in. They dont have the variety of products in every category. It is like shopping at a discount store. I had to walk around an employee several times, that was sitting on the floor. I still couldn't get to the products I wanted to see. The manager went up to the employee sitting on the floor and told her to watch because I had a large open 👛 big beautiful monochromatic pink michael kors purse. 🤑 I was in the isle that sold elf $8 a piece products. (Like I am going to risk my lively hood, reputation and freedom on stealing an $8 item.) Every product i picked out to buy, I took it up to the counter for them to hold. Everytime i looked around, there was this 20 year old manager named myisha, watching me. She would be looking over a riser and pretending to be straightening items. Couldn't be more obvious. She was a little overzealous in the job. Maybe a new manager. Maybe the power has gone to her head. I bought almost $300 of items and i would have bought more if they had variety and certain products. On the drive home, I thought about being followed around the store. When I got home, I thought about being followed around the store again. Now I am angry. I have NEVER stolen anything in my life. NEVER!!! I went in because I tried to do a full face of makeup yesterday for the first time. (Normally just do eye makeup) Well it looked horrible in my opinion. So I go in and she greets me ever so kindly (other times I’ve either gotten eye rolls from employees when they greet me or they don’t speak at all). She helped me find affordable products to help me get started since I have 0 clue what I’m doing. She gave me advice and was very knowledgeable and honest. Helped me get a good skin scrub, cleanser and cream. As well as a good foundation, primer, concealer, setting spray, bronzer, lip exfoliator, and even a lip stick. If I could give more stars for her I would. Girl needs a raise and more employees need to be like her. I’ve been in numerous times and no one has ever helped me. More employees at this location need to have the kind, caring personality like her. Because not everyone is a pro at makeup. Some would like to just feel confident and have no idea where to start. I can understand dumping out makeup products before throwing them away because makeup can expire but there is absolutely no reason you should be cutting the chords of hair dryers, curling irons, straighteners ect, cutting up makeup brushes to be unusable, and marking on bags and totes before throwing them in the trash. I get the makeup thing but the rest is greedy corporation bullhonky. I see so many tiktoks of cake faced middle-aged women and teenagers who peaked in high school proud to be cutting up and marking on items that could be donated to people who are less fortunate than others. It's disgusting and sad, especially since a lot of the makeup products you sell were tested on animals. You're the Nestle of makeup companies, nasty, greedy and proud...
