I had to write this review my daughter and I went thru the drive thru customer service is everything to me I am super Big on customer service because I work with the state of Georgia and service the individuals in my community.Pulled up in the drive to the speaker we waited for 10 mins and finally a young lady spoke she was so rude like you could feel her attitude and vibes thru the speaker! I immediately drove around and got out to see who this was standing in the drive thru. I am a African American woman so when I say this no offense but it was a young African American young girl body language was horrible attitude was horrible she, she was rude slinging food in bags and face expression was horrible people were coming in with orders wrong! Let me be the first to say if a manager will not lil girl your personal problems at the door before you bring your ass to the window because your attitude STINKS, so glad the young white man was at the front cash register with a beautiful smile pleasant attitude and he saved your black ass trust me! Because I definitely wanted to say something to your lil ignorant ass! Read moreNow, I love Captain D’s food but some of their managers’ decisions puzzle me. Ordered food in app bc I’m on the way home from hospital and didn’t want to walk in my condition. I was in the Army for over 2 decades and have been passing kidney stones since a 1995 deployment to Haiti as is the case today. I pull up to the drive thru and tell the attendant that I ordered online. She says “then you need to come inside.” Inside, I ask where that is on the app or the pick up instructions and she says “our manager makes the app orders come in, I guess to verify.” She finishes prepping my order. I thank her for her time, get my food and VOW TO NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE FOR SUCH AN UNNECESSARY INCONVENIENCE. She then turns to the manager and, I suppose, informs her of my discontent. As I limp to the door, I expect that the manager would at least express some modicum of sympathy; that was too much to expect. A formal complaint to corporate is SURE to follow my venting here. I’ve eaten around the world and haven’t been as shabbily treated and my patronage discounted. Read moreWent to Captain D's today. I was supper excited to taste my favorite dish. I usually get Salmon with lemon pepper, rice & steamed broccoli, Yum right!? WRONG! It's usually cooked just right however this is now the second time going to this place with bad results. The food was thrown in place (someone did not care) the broccoli was overcooked (normally it's nicely cooked with a small crunch, it was Not, just Mushy) the rice was too much on the plate and bland (normally steamed just right with a hint of flavor) and the most important food.. The Fish! What Captain D's known for, fish cooked in different ways. Boy this salmon was just horrible, not only was it overly seasoned, it was cooked so tough I had a hard time cutting off a bite with my fork. When I got a piece in my mouth it felt dry and old like really old fish with a pile of seasoning 🤢... imagine cooking salmon then setting it on a table forgetting about it until it's tough then over season to try and hide your mistake reheat it again then serve it to a customer knowing it's a bad fish.
