Jefferson's — Restaurant in Villa Rica

If I could give this place a no star I would for sure. The service is horrible and NO ONE knows what they are doing in there.

I showed up for lunch around 12:30 this afternoon, the parking lot was packed. I figured they would be swamped inside, as we were walking in groups of people were leaving. We were YELLED out to sit anywhere we would like. Okay great, ALL the tables were dirty and I get an attitude back when I say I don't see any clean tables. She snaps back there are two over here. Okay great, POINT THAT OUT NEXT TIME AND DON"T TELL PEOPLE WALKING IN THE DOOR TO SIT ANYWHERE AND EXPECTED US TO SIT AT A DIRTY TABLE.

Once we sat down a lady came to the table and she asked if we had been helped. We told her no and she stated that she would grab our drink order and then find someone to take care of us.

Once our waitress came to the table, she asked if we were ready to place our order. Which we were.... We order one cheeseburger and two salads.

I am not one to write a negative review for a one time visit. I have eaten at Jefferson's Villa Rica 4 times now in an attempt to get the awesome service that I hear so much about. 3/4 times I have been so disgusted with the wait staff's ability to get an order right and deliver my food as ordered. The first time in I ate there in Feb. We had a party of 6, one of our guest got the wrong food and one other person in our party didn't receive their food until everyone else was done eating. The second time was in early march, we had a party of 3, one of our guest did not get their food until we had finished eating. The third time we ate there was a busy Friday night, march 15th to be exact. We had fabulous service and our food was perfect despite them being busy. Tonight, I went to with a party of three. The wait was not long and they were busy. After we were seated the place seem to clear out a bit but it took over 5 minutes to get our drink order in and another 5-7 minutes to actually get our drinks. Guest sitting at tables near us, who came in after us were getting their drinks and had already placed their order. After about 15 minutes of being seated we were able to place our order. A brief wait and our food was out in no time. We had ordered a burger, a philly cheese steak sandwich, and a kids meal. Once the food was delivered we requested condiments. 10 minutes later, after the burger and philly cheese steak sandwich have turned cold the waitress comes by to check to see if we need anything. My burger sit just as it was delivered. I requested for a second time and the waitress informed me it was her fault that another table needed the condiments and she had given it to them instead of me. At this point our food was cold and we still didn't have the condiments. We requested a refill on a drink, and the condiments. ANOTHER 13 minutes passes and we still do not have the refill or the condiments. The waitress comes back by a 3rd time to ask if everything is okay and she is reminded by another member of my party that we still do not have the condiments. She returned about a minute later and said she was sorry but our food was already cold but not with our refill. At this point we called it and requested the check. I left the burger on the table with one bite taken out of it. At this point I feel as I will not return. My family loves this location and the wait staff some of whom are friends however the less than stellar service has left a bad taste in my mouth. (pun intended) I gave Jefferson Villa Rica a 2 star instead of a 1 star because the food is delicious if you can get it...

My husband and I went to Jefferson’s for lunch February 1st we arrived around 1:30, sat down and it took about 10 minutes for someone to come to the table, she brought menus and took our drink order, brought our drinks, we were still looking over the menu, so she said she would be back. About 15 minutes later, we asked another server to let our server know we were ready to order. A server came right out, but it wasn’t our server, to take our order, she was very apologetic and said they were short staffed in the kitchen, we understood, it was fine. She took our order, all was good, then Our actual server came out and said she was so sorry, she “forgot about us cause she was making tea” her actual words. We sat for about 30 more minutes, she did refill our teas, once, but our lunch still hadn’t arrived, the table across from us, asked for the manager, the table in front of us just got their order, they’d been there since before us, at 2:30 my husband was looking for someone to ask where our food was, and our server seen him and said, do y’all need something, my husband said yeah our food! She said I’ll check on it, I asked for them to put in to go boxes, we had been there for an hour and didn’t have time to eat it there. She came back out of the kitchen with no food but presented our check to us! My husband was furious at that time, after a few more minutes, we got up and told the manager at the bar, we are leaving, my husband did offer to pay for our drinks, but she comped them. How nice! We love Jefferson’s food, but your service needs help, this wasn’t the first bad experience there but it...
