I seldom write reviews unless something is spectacular or abysmal. What was so weird about my experience with this Wendy's is that the cashier taking orders just wanted to keep giving us things we didn't even remotely ask for. I worked in the food service industry for a solid decade, working every position in front and back of house. I never worked fast food, per se, but I know how it operates on a fundamental level. We were passing through and stepped inside to order to stretch our legs. I ordered a Spicy Asiago chicken club for my wife, no tomato for our first item. The lovely, soft spoken cashier added pickle, onion, mustard, ketchup, and mayo on top of everything it normally comes with. I noticed that and told her we wanted it normal, just no tomato. She said "oh, okay, yeah" and the screen didn't change. I thought there might be a lag on their system or something. Moving on. I asked if the double stack came with pickle and onion normally and she had no idea, she just said she'll ring in whatever I want, that they normally ring in toppings per sandwich (which is not normal, obviously {maybe they've had a problem with wastage, idk}) so I said, "I'll have a double stack, then, just make sure there's pickle and onion, please." Her next question was what sauce did I want for my nuggets?... I rarely am speechless, but I was taken back because I had my son with me and he was going to get a kid's nugget meal. I thought maybe she had overheard him and was taking initiative, good for her. But nope, I looked at the screen and she had rang me in for a biggie bag meal. I hadn't said anything for about 8 to 10 seconds (which doesn't sound like a long time, but my face was very confusedly looking between the menu and the screen in dead silence, and that feels very long in food service.) I told her, "Oh, just the sandwich by itself, not the biggie bag." She apologized and I moved on when I saw her fingers stop moving on the screen. As I ordered my son's kid's meal, I noticed she had changed the Biggie Bag to a Big Bacon Classic. When she was done entering in the kid's meal, I gently let her know, "it looks like the double stack is rang in as a Big Bacon Classic." She just looked at me, looked at her screen and said, "I don't see that." I said, "Yeah, it says Big Bacon Classic for 7.39 (which was more than the listed price on the menu, for some reason), the Double Stack should be 3.59." she still looked perplexed, so she came around to see what I was seeing. She still didn't quite get it so turned to the manager (I think) making food behind her, said something quietly out of earshot, and he took the sandwich off, then she put the correct one in. While the food was being made, the probable manager asked me, confusedly, "Do you want mayo AND ranch on that Spicy Asiago Club?" I let him know that it was supposed to have "whatever it normally comes with, just no tomato." We got a correct kid's meal, a correct Double Stack, and a Spicy Asiago Chicken Club with no tomato, mayo, ranch, mustard, ketchup, lettuce, pickle, bacon, and onion. I'm honestly at a loss for how this place functions. I told two different people the same thing and they both interpreted it the same, wildly incorrect way. I don't know if it was the cashier's first day or week, or if they are just overworked, or we're just having a spectacularly off day. I think better team management is needed, or retraining, or something. My wife was able to pick most of the incorrect toppings off, but the mustard and ketchup were soaked into the flavor of the sandwich by that point. Very odd and...
Read moreToday when I got off of work. I went to Wendy’s in Villa Rica. I experienced the worst customer services ever. The lady in back drive thru took my order which was supposed to been #3 10pc nugget comb with a large strawberry lemonade. Well when I got to the window I gave the lady my card not paying attention thinking I’m paying for my order. She gives me my card back. I drive to the next window thinking I’m about to get my order. Well the kid that was in drive thru was like she only rung you up for a lemonade, and I was like that can’t be right. Then I was like can I order right here since she didn’t ring my food up. The kids proceeded to get smart so I asked for the manager. When the manager gets to the window I was trying to explain to her what had took place but the kid just kept running her mouth; so I told her I wasn’t no longer talking to her I was talking to her manager. The manager told me to pull back around through the drive thru but I didn’t. I parked my car and got out and went in the inside to order my food not saying anything to anybody. I’m just waiting but the kid from the drive thru started running her mouth. Saying she’s in here and I said I sure am. Then the manager going to say I told you to go back through the drive thru and I told her you don’t tell what to do. I can order my food from the inside; so from that point everything went south. Of course they started hollering we going to call the police and told them to call them. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to wait around on them being that today was my son visitation day. #VILLA RICA WENDY’S has the far most disgusting...
Read moreI went to the VillaRica Wendy's today 10/11/16 @ 4:17pm. I soon as my Husband and went to step in the door a young girl was coming toward the dining area with broom and dust pan. As soon as she seen us she rolled her eyes, and went back the counter. She did not greet us, no team member smiled or greeted us. She asked us here or to go? We said here. She took our order, I ask for Onion and pickles added to my JBC. Then she asked again here or to go? Here!!! Okay, then I went to wash my hands and when I came back I notice our fries and nuggets was laying on our tray next to cash register, where another person was waiting for their order to be taking, so I thought maybe our burgers would be coming very shortly. I told my husband after we got our condiments and took our set, our fries and nuggets has been sitting there almost 5 minutes. So he went up and said I want fresh fries and nuggets. She grabbed them rolled her eyes and thrower them in the garbage. About 3 minutes later we got our food. 3 people in the inside and maybe one car in drive thru, no reason to take about 15 to 20 minutes to get your food. I had no onions or pickles on my burger. I went up and told her. She did ask no one or put a glove on she grabbed a plastic lid and put them on it bare handed, came around the corner wiping her hands on her apron. Terrible!!!! The Cashiers name is Jessica, I worked as a waitress for 6 years and in fast food for 8 years. I would fire my employees if they can't do better. The place also smelled. Today I wish I was a secret shopper. Awful. Jessica if you don't like your job,...
