Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Villa Rica

Where do you start in rating a restaurant that always seems to be busy, but has been in decline for the last several years?! Almost every time I drive by or visit this Zaxby's, trash is rolling through the parking lot like tumbleweeds in the desert. If you take the time to look around, there is an unfixed trash receptacle missing it's door, trim work falling off the counter wall, and other maintenance issues that have been ignored for quite some time. The dining room has never been fully cleaned on any of my visits, as there is always a full trash bin or tables in need of being wiped down or debris on the floor. The drink machine is always dirty from drink splatter that is dried and sticky. Upon a closer look, one can tell that deep cleaning hasn't been completed in who knows how long, as the tops of flat surfaces and trim molding are screaming to see daylight.

On today's visit, the chaos at the counter was both humorous and frustrating. Prior to ordering, there were multiple tables waiting for their food, which is never a good sign at a 'fast-food' restaurant. When placing my order, the cashier was tapping on her phone as much as she was tapping on the kiosk to enter my order. God forbid we interrupt her social life while she's at work. Then, at one point, there was a dozen people gathered near the counter, either waiting for their food or asking for things that were empty at the condiment station. Had it not been for another thoughtful customer, I would not have known my food was ready. He saw the food sitting on the counter and asked me if it was mine.

Now, the food quality was good, minus the cold Texas toast from sitting on the counter. The drink machine ran out of lemonade, though.

The one bright spot was a young man that took my tray and threw it away for me. Thank you, sir!

Where is management? Is this a franchise? If so, are they asleep at the wheel, just cashing their checks? Take some pride in this location! Stop ruining Zaxby's reputation. Let's see this location polished up and trained up to provide a better experience for the people...

I am absolutely appalled that you have racists working there. Born and raised in this country, not only am I certified medical assistant and real estate agent with Keller Williams, I contribute to the community by donating to the children in need every Christmas.

Now, I door dash on the side because it gives me something to do and I can earn extra money on the side doing it.

I went up there to pick up an order and the older white lady with long grey hair refused to give me my order unless I spoke the name on the delivery.

I showed her the name on the order numerous times and she replied with "can you speak it? can you say it?"

Then she proceeded to say "I just think it's rude to shove your phone in someone's face"

First I want to say that, judging by her initial approach, that this isn't the first time she's behaved in this way.

She's been mistreating customers for a long time, this is just the one incident that gets you caught.

With everything that's going on in our country right now and people of Hispanic heritage being demonized by the media, to have someone so unprofessional working there greeting customers and handling orders, it's just bad for business.

If I show you the name on the order, it's because it's loud inside a quick service restaurant and I want accuracy.

This is just the beginning as I will be going to corporate first thing in the morning.

I don't need to speak, just get the order and do your job. You are an employee, you're not getting paid to state your own personal opinions and I most certainly not interested in hearing any of...

Let's start out with first things first, I ordered 3 combos and 1 shareable snack item. The total came out to 60 dollars although the price isn't the problem, I expected the food to be atleast good once it got here. When it got here I noticed one of my combos didn't get delivered but all three drinks did. That makes a lot of sense right? My family started eating and when I opened the Great 8 Boneless Wings Meal immediately I become unappetized because of how the food appeared. The sauce I selected for my wings to be tossed in was not evenly proportioned across the wings and was wet in one spot but extremely dry in others. The fries tasted like a cold cut potato that had been sitting out for a while. I also selected ranch for my combos and not single one was in there, the only reason I needed the ranch was because of how dry the chicken was. I'm in absolute shock that I spent so much money on stuff my family literally threw away. The Fried White Cheddar Bites were what I was excited about but I'm sure if you've been reading this you won't be surprised when I say it was cold and most of the bites were just shriveled up fried batter with little to absolutely no white cheddar cheese. Honestly this is the most worst experience I've ever had with Zaxby’s and I wouldn't recommend buying at this location unless you want your money to be wasted...
