The lunch buffet is always good. But..... I've noticed they are recycling the food that hasn't been eaten at lunch. I ordered around 4:30 pm on a Friday. the combination plate to-go. it was to shared with me and my 4 year old son. We ordered 'sweet and sour chicken'. Some of the pieces we're visibly obvious that they've been double cooked🤦 those pieces were terrible, they were tough and inedible, me and my son couldn't chew through the hard jerky🤦 it was supposed to be soft melt in your mouth meat. I used to order sweet and sour chicken from here all the time because it was the best around. But after the stint they pulled, I won't be wasting my money on double-cooked chicken. they are cutting corners attempting to save money at this restaurant trying to serve reheated food. It's very unfair to the loyal customers that come here. This is the exact reason why I stopped eating at other restaurants. If you're going to serve reheated food I'm not going to come here either. Buyer beware of ordering anything after lunch buffet closes!!! I suggest you always get your food from here around noon so you...
Read moreKing's Wok has been my very favorite Chinese place for better than 8 years... but I'll never go back again. I've made note that the place seems to get dirtier and dirtier every time I go in... and the last time, I watched a man sweeping up under the tables and pushing roaches along the floor... not killing them or being discreet... more playing with them. They'd start running for cover and he'd bring them back into the debris pile with his broom... over and over. As I watched this going on in the main dining room, my appetite for my to-go order diminished rapidly. I don't think I'll go back. Look, roaches can happen and I understand that... but playing with them while there's somebody at the take-out counter seems to indicate that it's a regular thing. I WILL miss their food... but once you've seen roaches in there, you just...
Read moreBest chinese hands down. I recently believed another local place was the best until I had kings wok. I've gotten it twice within the last couple months, the staff are very friendly and patient, and the orders haven't gotten messed up. Highly recommend the sesame chicken and the general two's chicken for main entrées. The combination platters give you enough food for two days. Little tip: for reheating the chicken if you're eating it the next day or so, place on baking sheet and put it oven on low heat, about 150 degrees, for about 30-45 minutes. The low temperature gradually warms the chicken and gives a nice crispness on the outside without drying out the chicken or making the...
