I placed a mobile order for pick up at your Market Lane in Kenosha, WI store.
I went inside to pick up and another customer was ahead of me. After waiting for 10 minutes for one of the 4 staff members to even acknowledge I was there, the customer infront of me turned and said that she had been waiting to be served for 15 minutes. Not one of the 4 staff members on duty had even approached her to take her order.
I then asked "Hello, is anyone going to take our orders". All 4 members of staff turned around, looked, completely ignored us and went back to doing what they were doing. After another 5 minutes of being point blank ignored I had had enough.
Frustrated I left to get my phone from my car in order to call customer service.
I had been standing in store for around 20 minutes and still not ONE staff acknowledged the customer ahead of me or myself.
Another customer came in behind and I explained the situation to him. They also ignored him. After 25 minutes of waiting I shouted that I was here for a pick up order and this whole situation was completely unacceptable.
The drive through staff member asked me for the name of my pick up and pulled it from the multiple orders thst had been left sitting around getting cold.
I then asked who the manager was and was told "there is no manager". I asked for the managers name. I was told "there is no name" as he then walked off smirking. At this point I pulled out my phone and started to record all the staff on duty so that I could return and speak to the manager to show which staff were on duty. One of the girls ran to the back of the kitchen knowing that I would now have them all on camera.
I then left. At home I found not only was my order wrong, but it was also cold as it had been sitting out for the entire time we had been being ignored.
I was previously a store manager for KFC for 3 years, so I understand peak times and how busy things can get, I know the stress of working Fast food, however, ignoring customers completely and not even acknowledging they are there is unacceptable. Those 4 staff members ignored 3 customers for over a 20 minute period even after I had highlighted the fact we were standing there to be served.
I would like to speak to the store owner about this and forward him the video I took of the staff members. I would also like a full refund of the meal I was supposed to get since I will not ever be returning to that location again.
Seeing the slew of 1 star reviews tells me that this is not a one...
Read moreAvoid and just keep driving to the Kenosha Location!! We decided to stop here to quickly grab a bite to eat. However we were extremely disappointed by the service received. The Indian guy who’s in there taking orders seems to be the one wanting to do everything at once on his own causing a delay in orders. Not to mention he takes you’re order inside and yet skips the restaurant walk in orders as he is constantly trying to clear out the drive thru. They seem to be understaffed and need better management. He was rude to some costumers and often raised he’s voice at them when he couldn’t hear them tell him they’re order. To me this was rude as he raised his voice with a condescending tone to them. We had to eventually tell him to give us our order as we had already been waiting for a while and by this time he had already emptied the drive thru. It was clear that he took over 10 orders just in the time I was there waiting for my food!! He also forgot part of my order which I had to go back and ask for. It didn’t make sense that he was doing that! The restaurant itself is a hit or miss sometimes the tables are clean and other times they don’t even bother and there’s chicken crumbs all over the tables. Absolute worst Popeyes we have ever purchased from! This store has had nothing but issues since the day they opened. Service has been an issue from the start, as has consistency, but we gave them a break since they were a new store. Well, they are not new any longer! And they’ve gotten worse, if that was even possible! My husband went through the drive through, had to repeat the order 3 times for the order taker to get it correct, 2 Spicy Chicken Sandwiches, Reg Fries, Reg Mac & Cheese, not a difficult order, and the employee repeated it each time and the 3rd time FINALLY repeated it correctly. 5 minutes after receiving the order, he returned home; sandwiches were cold, fries were cold, mac & cheese was and waxy/greasy, disgusting, and you guessed it, COLD! After we heat everything up, he bites into his sandwich and discovered it wasn’t spicy after all! I called, spoke to Abdul, the “manager”, complained and he told be to come in for a refund, which we did. How this store manages to have 3.3 stars, I have no idea, but if I could give ZERO stars for this review, I absolutely would! We will never make a purchase at this...
