First and last time at this location and a Burger King in general. I ordered the new “Have it your way” supposedly a biggie bag. Nothing about the bag is big. I went inside to order and everything is small extra small. The drink has been chopped down to a child size drink with a junior whopper and a small fry. Probably good enough for a child. I guess I was shocked when I saw the drink size and mentioned something to the cashier that took my order. Another employee (a child to me) overheard me and decided to intervene to further try to explain that I WAS getting a value for all that I was getting.. as it was her business while she was changing the trash. I’m well into my 50s and I told her that I know what a value meal looks like in America or what it used to look like. She stated to me that she doesn’t eat at Burger King, yet she works there. I went to the front for a cup of ice and received an even smaller cup. I was talking to another customer about how these fast food restaurants are shrinking everything and switching menu items to try and manipulate customers into thinking they’re getting a value.
Another young lady who I’m assuming is a manager, tried to reiterate, basically what the other young lady said who was changing the trash by telling me that they changed everything and that that was the value cup. I told her it was a child size and she told me well... “They did away with the child drinks with a snobby attitude just like the other young lady. So now I’m supposed to believe that I’m getting the value of something? I will give you young people, some words of advice. “Keep your mouth shut when no one is talking to you!” You lack basic human people skills and you have no concept of what customer service really means. Fast food has become anything but fast in America and it’s downright disgusting how greedy and petty a lot of these chains and have become. I have decided to cut them basically all out except Chick-fil-A. The food is disgusting and is shrinking, but the price still go up and customer service is the worst! I can cook at home. If you really want to get a value for your money, start supporting small local businesses because they really put their heart into it AND they truly want you to “have it your way!” I...
Read moreBeware this establishment does not welcome transgender people I personally had a horrible experience with a daytime manager who is a short blonde woman after being misgendered many times I came for a return visit after ordering two fish sandwiches and a small onion ring I asked for two onion ring dipping sauces she hands me one and says that I have to charge you I walk away and I go over put my things down on a table and I grab some napkins I turn around and I asked a group of older ladies if they could go up to that woman and ask her for two onion rings I noticed that they had ordered burgers and sodas and nothing else the woman goes up to the counter asks for two onion ring sauces and the blonde woman manager woman hands heard the two sauces I turn around walk up and she snatches them back from that woman and says oh that's for for him and immediately says they ordered chicken fries which they did not she says that she had no idea that I was a man and not a woman I told her that I'm transgender woman and she said that she had no idea I said yeah right you're transphobic and you treated me like garbage other times that I've been in here and this proves it , she turns to one of the employees and says it's not welcome here anymore using the word it calling me in it .....about an hour ago I go to Burger King I didn't even go inside I was outside using the Wi-Fi and another manager person walks out and goes to a car that's parked through the drive-thru their food on her way out she turns around so so it's you on her way back in she stops and says we're not allowed to serve you you're not allowed here and I said why is that you know why that is Don't make me say it I said why tell me why she says you know exactly why u can't be here , and in not going...
Read moreThe first problem was the speaker wasn't working well or she just wasn't paying attention to me. My order was just thrown in the bag with a bunch of napkins covering it. I checked the bag, saw three whoppers and fries, and the food had been unwrapped and rewrapped. My wife doesn't like pickles and requested none on her burger. I believe that was why the lettuce from her sandwich was in the bottom of the bag. Her sandwich was flat as a pancake and everything was old/cold. I ordered a combo meal plus two Whopper juniors and a medium fries. She didn't hear me or forgot to ring up the additional order of fries. I didn't realize that until I got home. So , my wife and her dad shared the only order of fries and I had none. It's so disappointing to never get the correct order from this BK. Have it your way? Not there you can't. I'm done with all BK. And, I am pretty sure they removed the pickles from her Whopper junior instead of making it as I ordered. I will be going to locally owned restaurants from now on, like Big Woodies or Bonefish Grill at Princess Anne Plaza. They have awesome food, great service, and terrific Happy Hour food and drink specials, plus delicious dinners in stunning environment. Their managers make sure we get our food our way. Big Woodies has a menu that was created by a chef, ask Bruce at the Chesapeake Square Mall location. My wife used to work at that one, and I loved their wings!!! So BK, you lost our business forever. You just can't compete. BTW, you won't ever be sorry for going to Bonefish or Big Woodies, can't say the same about this...
