China East Restaurant — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

This restaurant food is decent, however their service is awful. They double dip. If you order from any delivery services or directly from their website, they are the ones whom actually deliver the food from any of the services. They get paid to deliver their own food. If you don't leave them a tip on your credit card or debit card they will harass you about giving them a tip. They've banged on my door to ask if we were tipping them, so we put the cash back in our pockets. Another one of my orders they actually called to ask if I was going to tip them and if not was I planning to pick up my own food... my food was ordered through Grubhub. I was already charged a service and delivery fee. I'm not paying all those fees to pick up my own food because someone assumed they weren't getting tipped. Needless to say, calling me to ask that question guaranteed them no tip. I will not order from...

Restaurant was given a direct address to deliver food to. Failed to drive to that address. asked ME to find them... hesitantly, I did so.. waited for 15 minutes more. Called the driver back over and over they failed to answer. Finally when she picked up the phone, I discovered their driver just asked a random passerby if they were ME.. (duh... ) and THEY GAVE MY FOOD AWAY!!?? who does THAT?

I called back 30 minutes before closing and they continued to put me on hold and they finally asked if I wanted them to remake the food or just give me a refund. I indicated, I wanted my food. they called back again asking if i wanted a refund or my food, AGAIN i said.. "Please make my food".. they called right at closing and said "we are closed, just take the refund"

Ordered the curry chicken at the spiciest option and even wrote in the comments to make it EXTRA SPICY. My wife who does not eat spicy food could not even taste any spice in the chicken. On top of that I ordered a quart of it and what I received was 90% onion. I took a picture after eating all the chicken out of the dish and you can see it is just a bowl full of onion. I called to complain and they said the cook says this is always how they make it and there was enough chicken. They were not interested in seeing my picture of a full bowl of onions.
