DOMOISHI ramen-poke-tea-wings — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

A few months ago I rated this restaurant 5 stars. I didn't want to change my review but after multiple visits back to the location, I've decided to change my opinion. I used to come here with my family and was met with all smiles and incredible service from the same two lovely workers who always made our experience phenomenal. However, it feels like when I come in to pick up or dine in, the service has gone downhill. No one working says hello and the new (I believe) staff are on their phones, not interacting with customers. The change is like night and day from what it was before. I'm not sure what caused the decline so fast but it should be looked into. I'm done with this location, not only because the service but also because the food. The last two times I ordered a poké bowl, the fish tasted like it went bad, there was hardly any toppings either. The quality of the chicken isn't the same and when my kids order a boba tea it always comes wrong? The new staff needs training or maybe the management changed for the worse. The other Domoishi locations are much better. Skip this restaurant if you can, go to another...

I gotta be honest. I've been here a bunch of times. The food is yum but they have issues. Once I placed an order for pickup and when I got back home there was no straw... for my BOBA. Another time I placed an order for pick up (doordash), set time to pickup that was 2hrs away and received a msg less than an hour later saying it was ready?! Uhh what? I called and told them it wasn't to be picked up until later and the girl obviously did not care or see the issue. She just kept saying well I just put it through cause it came on the screen. Um. Im not eating food that I've paid $20 bucks for after its been siting around for an hour and a half and a watered down boba. She's huffed abt it after I had to go 'round and round abt how thats not okay and said they could remake it later. I need up going early to make sure they did. And here's the best of the best. At least twice I've gone there and workers would come in from where ever they were outside and go STRAIGHT to the food prep withOUT any hand washing. Just packing ppls food. Touch utensils. Making drinks. What is happening!??!??! WASH YOUR HANDS!...

Recently I visited this location on Friday, the 4th at night. I came with my wife and two kids to dine in and we all had an extremely good experience. There were two lovely cashiers working at the front. Both were extremely kind and knowledgeable about the menu, my wife had a hard time deciding what to order and they both chimed in with different suggestions after asking her some questions about her preferences, which I felt was above and beyond. The portions are pretty good for the price but the flavors are just okay. My family and I continue to come here though because of the customer service. I typically only see the same two cashiers, maybe it's because of the time we all come by. I have never had a bad experience with these ladies and always see them smiling and laughing with customers who are taking out too. The management at this location should be proud, I consistently come to this Domoishi over the Kempsville one because of the service alone even though...
