Everything was pretty good except for the items that were fried. The volcano roll seems like it was fried in the middle somehow. Service was quick and accurate. I would go here again 12/30/24-this is the second time I've been here now and I just wanted to update the review. I think this might be my favorite place now as far as the quality of sushi. Service was pretty good. 2 adults & four kids 8yo and under. I bought a soda for my 7yo, and my 1yo & 3yo shared a small fried rice. I was attempted to be charged for all four!! I probably would have ordered something small for the other ones however they didn't offer a kid's menu after lunch! Finally talked to them into only charging me for two of the kids but as she was walking away she told me that I was supposed to tell her who was eating and who was not eating! (There was only one other table in this restaurant). Maybe if her 8-year-old son (maybe 8yo) hadn't delivered almost all of the plates to our table she would have been a little bit more aware of what was going on! Also be careful because they'll automatically charge "18% gratuity" for the total of the food (sub total) + taxes....and it's still comes out to actually 22%!! Once again I approached what seemed to be the owner's wife and started pointing this out to her. Her more reasonable counterpart joined in on the conversation as I was pointing this out... He offered to take off $2... And while she's stood there quietly whispering and smirking to her husband which was obviously nothing but snide comments as far as I'm concerned, I called them out on it. Can you believe that she had the audacity to tell me that it was only $2 and that nobody else has ever said anything!!! So rationalizing theft! Not just potential theft to me but to literally EVERYBODY that never sat there at the end of their meal added things up to check that the percentages were correct.... After I got them to take away the gratuity entirely, I handed a $20 bill to the 8-year-old kid who did most of the service for the table. But simply out of principle, and once again I need to reiterate the fact that this was maybe the best sushi I've had in a long time... I generously tipped her as well... Maybe partially in spite. Because she would have still gotten a better tip than 18% if she hadn't have tried to wrongfully cram it down our throat. I know this is a long-winded review, this is just my personal experience. But it is obvious that anyone who has paid the bill without doing the math as been stolen from. I hope whoever is making the food back there doesn't get any backlash from this because it was amazing. Good luck, and in my experience is better to treat people like people even in times of need, as typically you get more generosity.

Hadn't had sushi since prior to the pandemic, and wanted a treat before the new year. This place was recommended to me, so I ordered online and went and picked it up to take back home. Ordered the Spicy Triple of rolls, and then added 3 special rolls as well (Treasury, Fuji Hana, and Chesapeake). They were all amazing, and the Miso Soup on the side was very tasty as well. For paying a la carte pricing, I felt the meal was affordable. I used to eat All You Can Eat sushi prior to the pandemic. While you can't really compare those two experiences and price points, for what I received, I thought it was worth the price. If you order from their website directly, it's a little less expensive than ordering thru a delivery app, as an FYI. The place seems nice enough, but I can't comment on the "atmosphere" since I was only there 5 mins to pick up. Would order again!

One of my favorite sushi places! Friendly staff, tasty food, nice and clean interior with some wonderful design (paintings, colored lighting, etc.) and as far as sushi goes, quite affordable (not the cheapest, but it is great quality, as far cost to quality goes). I come regularly and get the shumai, crab rangoon, katsu variations, and several rolls (Alaska, Spicy City, etc.) The mochi ice cream is also tasty (I had green tea) and it is nice, fresh stuff. So you are aware, there aren't chefs that cook in front of you (like, say, Shogun), but it's a nice place of good quality that many friends and family visit! Dinner price is shown in the photo, but expect to spend 20 to 30 here! There usually is just enough parking as well, though it is a pretty small parking lot, shared with a hotel.

Flat out lied with Extremely poor customer service due to dishonest bait and switch practices. Will tell everyone imaginable to stay away forever

Ask yourself is that really worth it to cheat someone out of an extra $15 ?

And to everyone else....if they are willing to be dishonest about that THEN what else are they willing to be dishonest about with regards to the sourcing of their food?

Please read the issue:

Saw the reviews and decided to give it a try even though it's out of my way and took a friend for lunch. I purposely called ahead to make sure what time I need to be there by and be able to receive the lunch special. I was told be in by 3pm and last order by 3:30pm before dinner started. I said no problem

Then the girl called me back and said I had to place the last lunch buffet order by 3:15pm. I said okay no problem

I got there before 3pm st 2:59pm and THEY REFUSED to honor the lunch buffet special. I was told some idiotic reason that the computer (which was about 4-5min ahead of actual time) already stated 3:03pm which was inaccurate BTWn and the computer switched over and they supposedly could not give the lunch price. When I said why did you first say 3:30pm AND THEN call back and say 3:15pm. They blamed the computer.

I was there 15 minutes prior to 3:15 either way AND THEY (the girl Vivian) LIED and blamed it on the computer..... really? The computer? You cant honor it bc of the computer.

Doesn't matter if the food is good. Sushi buffet is decent to good EVERYWHERE.

Q: Why should anyone come here if they can get virtually the same thing closer to there home or somewhere else that's better? Hmmmmm

A: THE CUSTOMER SERVICE geniuses

Not only am I not coming back but I will make sure everyone I know friends and family plus their friends and family does not waste their time coming to your restaurant.

How much $$$ is that worth? Hundreds a year maybe thousands of dollars over the course of a few years ????

I ask you and everyone else again:

Ask yourself is that really worth it to cheat someone out of an extra $15 ?

Finally is this what you stand for...

VERY RUDE! I come here often to pick up deliveries for paying customers, and I am often treated as if I'm unworthy of common courtesy and respect. The last time I came here to pick up an order, I waited at the COVID window for service when I entered, but no one approached the counter. AS SOON AS I OPENED THE DOOR TO THE RESTAURANT, a little boy came up and told me to stay where I was. "Right there," he said and repeated it a second time as if I were a dog. I gently closed the door and waited for the boy to round the corner. When he came around the bend, he loudly asked which carrier I was with. I POLITELY asked him not to shout at me and to speak to me with respect. I then gave him the name of the person whose order I came to collect. The order was not ready and with nowhere to sit and wait for the order to be prepared (since I was commanded to stand at the COVID counter) I returned to my car and sat there until the time they gave me for pickup had came. I reentered the restaurant and didn't even bother to open the restaurant door. I stood at the COVID counter and waited patiently and quietly. No one came to assist me. Then the phone rang and suddenly a woman came up to the counter and answered the phone. She copied down the information that was given to her without even acknowledging my existence. I stood there quietly. After the phone conversation had ended, she refused to acknowledge me. "Excuse me," I said softly, but she didn't answer. "Excuse me," I repeated a second time, but she didn't even look at me. "Excuse me," I said again a third time. This time, she finally looked at me, and I asked if the order of the person I came on behalf of was ready. "I'm doing it now," she replied. After she placed the items in the bag, she pushed the bag to me, and I respectfully said, "thank you." She never said a word to me. The child spoke to me with disrespect. The female ignored me and treated me with disrespect all the while I managed to use, please, excuse me and thank you. WOW! They have been cold to me before, but this time, it came off as if they were discriminatory or even a bit racist. My advice: Be mindful. Be careful. This is a strange time we are living in, and people are boldly showing their true colors more and...
