Kokee Tea — Restaurant in Virginia Beach

Just like any place, you have to try the different flavors to understand what you prefer! My favorite flavors are the Thai Tea and Taro. They do have a strict policy on no refunds or exchanges so if you’re trying something new, just understand that’s unfortunately their policy. Other than that staff is great, they’re friendly and attentive to any questions you have, so I’m surprised to read some of these negative reviews. They tend to get busy especially over the weekend, but they work through the line pretty well. First off, I’m a pregnant woman that was craving boba. I left the house and made it to the mall in time before they closed to order my boba. (Small wins matter when you’re pregnant) I ordered the wrong kind and it was horrible. I went back to let them know. I asked politely if I could exchange for a different flavor. We visited the Lynn haven Mall location, ordered a Strawberry milk tea with Strawberry Boba. The taste was different. I ask to get something else and was advised they did use a different ingredient from the norm due to being out of stock. I was advised they do not take refunds (I didnt want my money back) I requested to select something different of equal value. If you tell me you have improvised on your product (taste like medicine) why wouldn't you accommodate your customers? Horrible customer service experience.
