We ordered Manchurian and it didn’t taste like undo Chinese but still we had it and told the lady to takecare about curry,we told her very nicely but she was so rude to us the whole time..curry didn’t taste that good either..we got mango kulfi which looked she just froze mango lassi and gave us..food I will give zero stars and service was even worst for the lady’s attitude..the entire time she behaved as if we were eating for free..I won’t go back again to the place I’m not welcomed and with such a bad taste..I respect business but the lady who owns it seems to not care
Your reply is straight up a lie..our kids were on the table the whole time and nothing was complementary I did pay $150 for my dinner..you can’t expect kids to sit quietly..you should mention that your restaurant is not kid friendly..we did apologize for the broken plate and even offered to pay the server said it’s ok.even while paying the lady was super arrogant still I did not say anything as we didn’t wanted to make a scene..while we were out other customers who came out the restaurant said the same experience of poor food and arrogance of the lady..get your facts right rather...

This is my first visit to Nawab at Hilltop. I recently visited (and loved) the one on Military Hwy in Norfolk.
As soon as I walked in the door and smelled the aroma of the food - I told my friend - this is going to be great!
Inside was neat and clean and decorated nicely. I saw the buffet area and thought - looks small. When I got close and saw the dishes - I knew I was in the right place. Each dish looked delicious and fresh and loaded with the things I like. This kind of buffet looks and tastes healthy - fresh veggies, lean pieces of chicken, sauces that don't look or taste loaded with fat. - It is pleasing to the eye.
Wow!!!! What flavors!! Everything I tried was so packed with great flavor! There was a dish or 2 that was spicy and I loved them too. I'm not up on the names of these dishes yet - but I'll learn them.
There were 4 of us that met there for lunch (including one vegetarian) We all were of the same mind - the food was awesome and the price was right and the place was cool.
The staff was helpful and friendly. I will return.

Should be a negative rating! Poor customer service, poor management and poor preparation of food. Informed establishment of food discrepancies the same day order was placed. Female manager said that the items would be prepared at no charge. Upon calling the establishment for order replacement, a male manager stated that only one item would be complimentary and payment will be required for the other. I informed him that a female manager said that the items would be free as the establishment messed up the initial order. He stated that it's been weeks since the order. I stated that we're a military family and I would definitely post this experience on Google. Then he said both items would be no charge. Upon picking up items, the manager was forceful about tasting the food before leaving the establishment! I'll purchase Indian food from Trader Joe's (which is quite delicious and they offer 100% money back if customer is not satisfied) before ever patronizing this establishment!
