I do not know if I went on an off day or what, but gosh that was the worst service I have ever recieved in any form of restaurant ever. We went in around 5pm and asked for two sandwiches but wanted one half of each in a to go container, and some cinnamon breadsticks as well. We proceed to sit there for 25 minutes, listening to employees complain to customers about their jobs, and then recieved the cinnamon breadsticks from a staff member who literally had to be asked to come back and get our food to bring to us and he got frustrated and told the other customer that he had to go deal with this. He brings us the breadsticks and sets it down and mutters that he will be bringing the sandwiches shortly. 7 minutes later comes over with our sanwiches in a bag ready to go. My husband and I just shook our heads, ate our breadsticks and took the sandwiches home. Upon me opening my sandwich (chicago steak grinder) I noticed some cheese with marinara on top and was confused. I then look where the sandwich was cut to find marinara on it. My husband had ordered a meatball grinder. Needless to say, sanitary conditions were not fully observed.
TLDR; they didnt clean their equipment between food items. Also, staff with...
Read moreGreat place if you are a new graduate out of college and crave that Domino's taste at a higher price. They've actually gotten better on the Grinders so I'll give them credit there. As for the pizza, best comparison I can honestly make is Dominos. Except not the local Domino's because that place is deserving of an entire negative review of it's own. I will state I've sat down here once and service was fine. The place has a charm to it.
The pizza, as I've said before the best comparison is Domino's in terms of taste and flavor. My largest gripe with the pizza here is that it's never done. If this pizza was a steak it would still be mooing. I don't come here often it's maybe a once a month sort of deal. Everytime without fail unless the moon is blue I will have to turn my oven on and finish cooking the...
Read moreWhile it took a while to sample different selections from the menu, it was well worth it. The pizza is excellent. It all starts with a great crust, which they do perfectly. The specialty pizzas are awesome especially the Taco pizza and the Chicago Steak - you MUST try those two. The subs are great as well. The Reuben and the French Dip are the stand-out stars of that list. The bread they use is amazing. The only disappointment were the cheese fries. The fries by themselves are ok but the upcharge to throw some cheese and bacon bits on top was not worth it. That being said, there is plenty about this place and the menu to keep everyone satisfied. Go for the pizza and subs, skip the cheese fries and go back for more pizza...
