It was a DISASTER!
From the beginning to the end, not worth returning.
We arrived and no one, but I mean no one even acknowledged we were there.
After around 8 min mark someone said have you been talking care of? I was second in line and obviously the first clients were there before us.
People were leaving angry, at one point one of the servers said to a female who got up and left, "I hope you get better service next time." At least the server was honest. Thumbs 👍up for that.
But let's analyze what the server said, "I hope..." at no moment did the server say, come back, you WILL get better service next time.
To be fair, we got there a bit after, what I assume was the morning rush time.
FOOD
Not worth the price, due to no flavor and poor quality control, EXTREMELY OVERPRICED.
By now you know me. If food is on point, a high price is a fair price.
I got the NEW, Farmers Berry Choice with hashbrowns and French Toast.
The ham was the only good item. Eggs had no flavor. Hashbrowns dull. Again zero flavor. Cardboard is tastier.
The French, would be insulted if they knew, that Bob Evans in Springfield Va, was serving a French Toast with a wierd aftertaste. It had no flavors, just sweetness, and again, the aftertaste was horrible. Like if it was cooked using old ingredients...
Yeah, definitely not a pleasant experience. I was surprised. I hadn't gone in a while, before covid, and food and service was much better.
I had to leave the French Toast. Couldn't take it And I have eaten some wierd stuff but this one is in a category of its own.
The bisquets were a bit too salty, go figure.
Coffee was decent. Can you imagine, the free coffee was ok. But the food would be sent back from the devil himself.
SERVER:
Seemed a bit rushed but was professional. I was able to get a smile from her. So that coupled with the ham and coffee is the reason of two stars.
BATHROOMS:
Men's was clean.
RETURN FACTOR: 30% I may return at a less busy time to see if they can get it right.
RECOMMEND A FRIEND FACTOR:
ZERO!
If I recommend a friend I assure you that will be the last day I can call that person a friend.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Management must get the quality control back in check.
Management, go over the menu with the cooks. See how they are cooking it. What ingredients are used? Are the cooking oils fresh? Have them taste the fruit of their labor to see if they can identify what is needed to make it better.
And if they still do it wrong, let the cook find another place to screw up, not Bob Evans.
Thank God I didn't order the family...

With little kids, we often stop at a local store while traveling since it's reliable, family and budget friendly. This location changed my opinion on the overall consistency and reliability though. If you're traveling and looking for a quick bite or have kids and want something to please everyone, do not stop at this Bob Evan's.
Omelette was hard and overcooked. Homefries tasted like leftovers that had been deep fried. Burger bun was greasy, but the burger was tough and chewy. Wildfire chicken salad didn't have any wildfire bqq, cheese, or onions, and the chicken was tough and crunchy, again like leftovers that were deep fried a second or third time. Sausage gravy had a film on top, as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time, but it was barely warm.
Our server was friendly, but had zero menu knowledge. She told us just point to what you want on the menu cause I don't know what most of it is. My husband ordered the 3 meat omelette and she asked what do you want in your omelette, I don't know what that is? We ordered turkey, mashed potatoes, and corn for our 2 yr old, and the server asked the sandwich? She came back twice to ask about our bread choices. Then came back 2 more times because she forgot what sides we ordered.
The food did take a little longer than usual, especially since there were only 2 or 3 other tables with guests.
Overall, as a parent and Bob Evan's lover, I was not impressed! My husband and I didn't even finish our meals. My kids were happy with their pancakes, turkey lurkey dinner, and fries (2 bites of the burger and my daughter said...
Read moreI really used to enjoy bob Evans breakfast- but I went on a week ago and a young man took my order (I asked for an omelette, sausage patties, and biscuits)asked me if I wanted something to drink - I said yes and he went on. After about 15 mins- I didn’t have a drink and I started looking around… I noticed people being seated adjacent to me ( who came after me) had their drinks already. Finally the young man brings me my orange juice.. another 15 mins goes by and I see the same people (who came after me) getting their food. Now I’m trying not to get upset… so I still don’t see the guy-but I do see another gentleman looking over the dining room and making sure everything is good…(I assume this is the manager) so I say excuse me sir- I’ve been waiting about 40 mins for my breakfast and those folks came after me.. so the guy looks toward the kitchen and says oh I think that might be your food waiting up there ..so the guy who originally took my order brings my plate and when I look at my plate I say:” what is this?” And the guy says:”what do you mean?” And I said:”you know what? I’m out.” ( the plate had an omelette, FRENCH FRIES,no biscuits and no sausages.) that’s why I walked out. I didn’t want to start fussing. So I just walked away. Bob Evans you’ve got to do better period. I will not go...
