Bojangles — Restaurant in Virginia

Breakfast is usually good and the chicken is okay. But the sides are terrible. Went there this morning at 6:05am. They are supposed to be open at 6. When I pulled up to the drive they I just sat there waiting. Backed up and pulled back up because maybe it did not trip the drivethru. Still nothing. Then I started talking to the speaker to maybe get someone. Finally someone acknowledged my existence and said it would be another 5 minutes. So about 6:12 am they would finally open. I wish I could say it was the first or second time this has happened. But I can’t. The one time it snowed but the roads were clear blacktop with no ice. I am not positive when they opened that day, But it was hours later than their time said. After today, I am done. They do not care about their customers enough to be able to open on time. And who knows how often this happens. I go there once or twice a month and it has happened at least 3 times to me so I am sure it is a regular thing there. Last time I...

First time trying Bojangles'. It was good overall. I got an 8 pc family meal with fries and mac n cheese w/ half gallon of sweet ice tea. The total came up to $27... I thought it was $20 based on updated sources, but not a big deal.

Food

Chicken was fresh (had to wait 15 mins for new batch), well seasoned and breaded. Fries were well seasoned, but lack the crispness (my preference). The Mac n cheese lacked flavor, but it taste the same like popeyes and KFC. Biscuits were 'ok', definitely lacked the butter (popeyes is better). Lastly, the sweet tea: not a huge fan of sweet tea to begin with so I won't rate it.

Overall: it sucks they don't have a mild/spicy version like popeye's, but you can hardly tell the spicyness from popeyes, so It wouldn't have a made a difference (to me at least). I would try this place again, but with...
