Two staff members short, yet the hustle was there. Lots of running a round, but if one pays attention you will notice the lack of attention to details. My hot pink 24-oz coffee thermos sat on the counter over 20 minutes while barista struggled to ask questions, questions she clearly had. I had to ask what was going on, as everyone’s drink was getting done while my own sat. It appears now it may have been purposeful. Intentional. Passive aggressive neglect. My calmness can only last so far. Afterwards, after all the lack of care the hood will surface. My age is not a reason to take advantage of my kindness. Disrespect will get you to remember customers should not be hostage to your neglect. I should have asked for my money back, and walked out leaving all behind. But my thermos was on her bar. HOSTAGE.
I had to mention that both drinks were whole milk orders, as she started one of the drinks with oat milk. She threw that out. Lack of attention to details. I had to mention my stainless steel thermos was to be filled to the top, as I had requested the gal who took my order to do so. It was on the receipt, but, apparently, Starbucks did not charge me accordingly.
What was unbelievable was the barista haggling with me about whether or not I paid for the coffee. Considering that the receipt showed her I wanted it filled to the top, why is she telling me she did not do it because I did not pay for it? That is the gal who took my orders problem. Why not say coherently and with calm detail that the gal forgot to ring me accordingly, and I needed to pay for it? Ask me questions. Why is she not providing a customer service?
I believe the attention to detail is lacking. This barista lacks humility, customer service, and proper training. The receipt stated cup filled to the top, but Starbucks didn’t charge me the correct amount. What would one do under such circumstance? What would her manager train her to do?
Well, common sense would dictate either tell the customer appropriately, or just give the customer the coffee for free since at this point it was close to 25-minutes since the order had been placed. Training at this store is inadequate, or, today, it is a one-off day, and my lucky day. No matter, today, the barista believes she is a rock star, yet she clearly is not. She is quick to snap at others, and is inappropriate with her employees. Keep that attitude private, and it is not the customers fault Starbucks hired unreliable staff. Two staff who call in sick on a weekend, with no one else to replace them. That is not a smart business motto.
If after waiting 25 minutes you want to charge me, please do so. Money is not a problem. But - What is a problem is giving me a 24 oz thermos less than half-way filled without telling me. Waiting almost half-an hour, only to leave without my order is an abomination. This barista is just plain bad for business.
14-hour work day ahead of me, my semi-truck is blocking local traffic and the barista gives me my coffee thermos half empty. Totally uncouth. No questions, and no statements. Just plain silence. I open up my thermos, after noticing the weight, and sure enough. Flabbergasted, aghast, after all that waiting, this gal had the nerve to just ignore the obvious and give me only half of what I ordered. Imagine the blowback. My teammate watched a twenty minute video outside at the truck while I was here at Starbucks busy busting a carotid artery getting overlooked by these young baristas who have zero common sense.
If I delivered only half a load of what my customer (boss) expected, I would be out of business. It’s on me to ensure I charge the client correctly, and I give them the best possible service. Do better. Ask questions, inform, and never make the customer after 25-minutes feel embarrassed for your own mistakes.
Wish I never had given them a five-dollar tip, as that was too generous....
Read moreI ordered a drink on the mobile app and I came in to pick up the order about 6:30 pm on Thursday 11.17.22. As I was leaving I tripped on what I think was the mat by their door. I fell hard against the door, hit my left hand which is bruised and my nose hit the edge of the door which caused a cut and was bleeding. Coffee all over me and the door etc. I was stunned because It was unexpected and I could not stop the fall. Anyway, the only person that asked if I was ok was the young man making the drinks. He kept asking me if I was OK and I was, but I was trying to get my composer since It surprised me and trying to settle down. Plus it is embarrassing whenever one does something like that. Eventually a young woman, blond with a pony tail came to clean up the coffee mess, I believe she was the manager per the young man who waited on me. She Never acknowledged me. Never asked if I was OK, did not suggest to sit down and make sure I was fine. Did not even offer a free drink which would have been nice, or even do an incident report. I did not make a scene about anything, but it would have been nice if she would have given me a free drink at least !!! Or acted like she was concerned, this did happen in their store!!!! Good thing I did not break my nose or worse. Goes to show you the quality of people working in management...
Read moreThe customer service was horrible and not polite. I did not recieve the correct order but did not realize it until i got home. When i went back they had just closed like 30 seconds before. I knocked on the door and the 2 girls working there just looked at me and did not say anthing. I continued to knock and they continued to ignore me while they just wondered about around. Eventually one of the girls mouthed they were closed from far away in the store. I only wanted my correct drink which they didnt even try to understand why i was there in the first place. It looked like the manager or supervisor came out from the back after like 10 min but she also just looked at me a wondered about. They were only concerned with going home for the day and did not prioritize their customer. They could of at least listen to what i had to say and if told me it was to late which i doubt becuase they only closed lile 30 seconds before i coluld understand that, but just to ignored me which was very rude. I would not recommend going there if you want to be treated like a...
