I had high hopes, as it was my first time ever at a Buffalo Wild Wings, but they were instantly dashed when I received my salad.
I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Salad, but requested Ranch instead of Blue Cheese dressing. I asked if it was homemade and the waiter said, it’s prepared at Corporate. So, I was like, ok, it should be good then. My salad arrived about 5 minutes after everyone else food, with the wrong dressing, it was Blue Cheese dressing. Had to send it back for the Ranch. By the time I got the Ranch and could eat, I noticed the white pieces of lettuce were dry/discolored/orange on the edges. The Ranch had a tangy flavor which I dislike. It tasted like store bought. Just to let you know if you like homemade ranch, this isn’t it. Probably one of the worst salad’s I’ve ever gotten in a sit down restaurant. The Buffalo Chicken was the only good part of the salad. The salad was $14.99 so, not worth it.
The waiter, while friendly, wasn’t attentive, he was nowhere to be found on several occasions when we were looking for him. So, the service wasn’t great, no refills on our drinks. I arrived first, got a water, but then the waiter wasn’t around when my other family members arrived and wanted drinks.
My husband ordered the burger/fries, and while the burger was good, he said his fries were cold. His meal and my son’s meal came out first, so why were the fries cold?
To make things worse, when we got the bill, they charged us twice for one salad. When the waiter came back, with the new bill, with the 2nd salad removed, it said, “customer” didn’t like” for why the price of the 2nd salad was removed from the bill. That wasn’t what happened, I received Blue Cheese instead of Ranch (which I ordered Ranch), and that’s why they said, well you returned the salad, I said, “no, I returned the dressing only”. So, on the bill, even though the 2nd salad was removed, the bill showed that the tip was based on the bill that had the two salads.
My husband talked to the manager, but it was a very young manager (maybe inexperienced?), who said, that’s how we do the bill, if you send a dish back. But we didn’t send the dish back, they brought the wrong dressing only, and needed the proper salad dressing.
My recommendation is provide more manager and wait staff training, don’t prepare a salad with non-fresh lettuce. Make sure the fries are hot when you serve a meal and don’t serve stale chips with the Hatch Queso dip and don’t charge a customer twice for one salad. If a bill is changed/corrected, don’t base the tip on the wrong total.
Thank goodness, my husband looked at the bill closely to make sure our bill was correct, because it wasn’t.
I won’t be returning to this specific restaurant, unfortunately.
For those wanting a bar scene, it might be good for that, they have a good drink menu and the bar area has bar...
   Read moreThis was my first time at the Colorado Dr. location and will be my last. Service was extremely poor, food was cold and noumorus tables were dirty. I had place a online order at 6:48 pm and the order was estimated ready for pick up at 7:10 pm. I had paid for the meal at 7:10 in store and was notified at the time it would take another 10 minutes due to my order including "extra crispy wings." I notified the server I would wait at the bar. The bar had two bartenders working with 6-7 people at the counter. It took approximately 2-3 minutes to be acknowledged and another 5 to be served. It was not the best black and tan I have had but the bartender admitted he was not usually behind the bar but the bartender that was scheduled was not there. I then finished my drink and returned to the service counter where there was a line out the door and no server in sight. At the time there where multipal tables dirty with 7 or so open. A server finally came out and started helping at to go orders after a few a minutes then a "Captian" had came out and told everyone waiting for a table it would be 5-10 minutes, at this time it was approximatly 7:35. They started bringing out food and I patiently waited and nothing. At around 7:45 people had started to be seated. I then was asked my name again and was asked to sign another receipt because they could not find the original (in the sea of receipts scattered behind the register.) My order was finally brought out at 7:50 over and hour from when I placed the order. When I check the food the breaded items were cold and the wings were cool. I did not have time to wait for a new order since I was not going to wait agian. My receipt says 19 minutes under the order time which I assume is the time I waited for food which tells me my food was sitting in the back for about 20 minutes.    Read moreI probably don't have enough characters to describe everything that was wrong with this place. It was filthy for no reason... they weren't busy, there was just trash on tables and all over the floor, chairs were covered in spilled drinks... they tried to seat us at a dirty table, when we said we'd just go sit in the bar and picked up our menus and utensil packs, she was insistent that we couldn't take them to the bar tables cuz they had their own. so there we are at the high tops in the bar... no menu or utensils/napkins. the bartender brings us menus and begrudgingly waits on us. the drink menu has no prices... when I ask if there's a difference in the margarita prices he says, uh there's lots of stuff on the menu--I can't remember the prices. after ordering drinks, he comes back to tell me they can't make my margarita because they're missing an ingredient but he doesn't know which one... This is the bartender. we also ordered an appetizer which came out super fast and luke warm, clearly from a microwave. at this point I get up and walk over to the bussing station and get our own utensils and napkins. 2 servers and the bartender see me do this and not one seems to think this is indicative of bad service. fast forward through the rest of the bad service to the part where I'm trying to put left overs into a to go box and the bartender decides he needs to clear the table at the same time. he proceeds to reach over some of my food to pick up the knife and puts his knuckles right into my bread... he obviously knew he did this but said nothing. so the bread did NOT go home with me. It's really obvious that management has no concept of cleaning the dining area, picking trash up off the floors, even cleaning tables. the silverware was all wrapped so poorly that the napkins they were wrapped in looked partially mutilated. the service sucked and the attitudes were worse....
