I've been to this Pei Wei a number of times, normally it's decent. However, I just ordered online and picked up my normal order (Pei Wei Spicy Chicken..now called Pei Wei Original) and am VERY disappointed. I did not get ONE solid piece of chicken breast. Almost half of the "chicken" contains no chicken at all , and is just the coating (the top half of the photo. This photo shows every piece of "chicken" included in my meal), and the other half is clearly leftover pieces from the bottom of the barrel. The thickest piece is no more than 1/8 of an inch. I will literally be throwing my meal out :(

UPDATE: 5 months later and i decided to give it another shot. Got the same meal and was disappointed again. :( Last time was not a fluke. I did have slightly more actual pieces of chicken, but the chicken i got was WITHOUT A DOUBT different than the standard chicken they used to use (idk if its a different cut ot just prepared differently). I've gotten this meal probably 50-100 times, and up until last time it has always been solid, cubed chicken chicken breast. Two times in a row now, its been extremely thin cuts (unsure if it is chicken breast or not). The problem with this is that each piece has significantly more fried batter than actual meat.in addition, i had maybe 3 snap peas in the entire dish (i ordered the larger size).

I was really really hoping it was just an "oops" last time, but im sad to say my pei wei days have...

Edit: Changing to 5 stars. The food is amazing as always, however it looks like they made a staffing change and they have been awesome. Been there probably 20+ times and will be coming back more.

Honestly wish I could give 0 stars. The customer service is so bad, they don’t even deserve 1 star. If I were to give stars for anything it’s the food and place itself, but the staff at this location makes me never want to come back. I’ve ordered there twice. First time they charged me for fried rice I never ordered, and the cashier wanted to claim I did. Had to argue to get a refund which took days. Also they told us we couldn’t eat inside and only take out even though they weren’t closing for another 1-2 hours. Then I placed a mobile order the other day while at work and accidentally selected my home address. I hit cancel and it said to call the restaurant. I did and they had the nerve to say they don’t handle cancelling of orders. THEN WHO DOES? What a joke. After some back and forth some “manager” finally spoke to me and kept sighing and giving me attitude when I was telling him that the app says to cancel by calling the restaurant. We ended by him saying I will be refunded in a couple days. It’s been a week and still no refund. I submitted not one but TWO contact us forms and still nobody has reached out to resolve this. About to dispute the charge for fraud with my bank if this doesn’t get resolved...

What my family and I experienced tonight was completely outrageous. We waited for an hour and never received our food. When we asked for a refund from the sweet young lady at the cash register, along with other customers, we were told the manager needed to process it. The manager was cooking and refused to process refunds, stating she would get to it, “…at the end of the night.” She apologized to her co-workers, but rolled her eyes at the customers, was extremely rude to us, and then resorted to ignoring repeated requests from multiple diners for refunds. Grub Hub and Door Dash orders were made while the dine-in customers waited an excessive amount of time for food that never arrived. We resorted to walking out and will need to notify our bank, as this restaurant is more focused on take out services and stealing money from customers who never received their orders than actually serving anyone. I would not even award 1 star to Pei Wei if I had the ability to do so through this post. This is sad, as we frequented this location multiple times per month prior to...

It’s been quite some time since I have been to this place. Prior to Covid actually, and I was looking forward to going again because it used to be terrific. Sadly, it’s gone downhill in both quality and atmosphere. The food used to be excellent, with fairly large portion sizes. I would say the quality of the food now is just average and the portion size has gotten smaller. Making it worse, is that the size of the proteins are just very inconsistent. From one bite of chicken or shrimp to the next, the size varies greatly. See attached videos; means the smaller pieces are over cooked and nearly inedible. They have also done away with the fancy soda machine and replaced it with a much cheaper model which dispenses soda that is basically flat with next to no carbonation. The staff was fine, very little interaction with them but they were nice enough. The inside of the restaurant just looks worn down, night and day difference to the way the place presented just a few years ago. Disappointing to be sure, I think there’s much better value for your money in the area.

It was a cold evening. We arrived around 7:15pm. There is a large display menu of dishes with pictures and descriptions, so we can have good expectations on what we are going to get. We said to have dinner in their dining area, but the staff said they will close soon, so only for to-go. Our orders were quickly done within ten minutes. The Thai Coconut Curry Chicken on brown rice was in averaging flavor. The Spicy Drunken Noodles were difficult to roll up using the plastic fork. The Kid’s House Special Chicken was simply chicken and pineapple in sauce on top of brown rice. We sat outside the restaurant, and finished our dishes at around 7:45pm wearing our winter coats in cold weather. When we looked into the restaurant, they were still open! We could not understand why they did not let us dine in!
