Potbelly — Restaurant in Virginia

Potty Belly, located at the Dulles Center 28 is a charming yet inviting place to get sandwiches. This was my first visit and I was looking forward to a great lunch experience. As you walk in you have to go around the corner of the building where the entrance is located. The interior is set up with a lot of wood and wrought iron legs tables with the Pot Belly logo emblazoned on the table top, which I thought was cool. The inside is large enough to host quite a few customers, but because this facility complies with the current COVID-19 rules and regulations it can only accommodate so many customers. The menu is pretty simple, so I opted for the A Wreck sandwich, which consists of ham, turkey, salami on a white roll. I ordered the classic versus the nine inch sub. The order was created in no time, which is one of their promises and that I can tell you they kept. I decided to eat in because I always like to get the full experience. The staff is very friendly and seem to display this very eagerly. And who can blame them, the atmosphere is awesome. Food is always good when the order is actually correct. Multiple times I’ve had issues with my order and it’s sad but I enjoy the food. Over the past few months: 1) had door dash cancel my order because someone else picked it up, the store remade it and I drove to pickup, 2) ordered delivery and got the wrong sandwich, did not have time to call the store to correct the issue , 3) ordered delivery got my sandwich with no meat, called the store they remade my sandwich and delivered the sandwich with meat, 4) today ordered pickup and showed up at pickup time, my order was missing. They remade my order. They have done everything to correct the issues as they occur, but it shouldn’t be this hard to order a darn sandwich. Food quality is good but the sheer frustration! I am not confident when I place my order that I’ll get it correctly or on time. Not sure why this keeps happening. But I will not be ordering from them anymore too many issues. I order from the Reston Pot Belly daily. I placed my order on the app as i do everyday. When I got there i didn't see my order. I looked at the app and noticed my location had somehow changed to this Dulles location. I understand this was not the locations fault but called to see if I could cancel the order. When I did the "manager" was not helpful. He kept say i ordered 20 minutes ago and asking way I didn't call earlier. (because i didn't realize it until I got to the store). he said it was already prepared and I had to come pick it up. he kept repeating himself over and over. he finally said he would cancel the order and hung up on me.

Now again i realize this wasn't the stores fault. but how they handle errors form their CUSTOMERS tells a lot about this location. I have ZERO confidence I will be refunded and for the $8 i really don't care but due to how rude the manager was I will follow up and ensure it is credited now.
