Cute place, donuts were donuts. I would have given more stars if the staff was more friendly. Nobody said hi when we walked in or when we got to the counter. The guy finally said, "what can I get for you" after about a minute of us standing in front of him at the counter. The lady who checked us out wasn't anymore friendly. When she came out she also didn't say hi & just went right into, "have you been helped? What can I get you?" A smile and a hello to start would be great!
Their donuts are stacked up way high so you can't really see what they offer. You have to be able to read or know what the ingredients are - definitely not something my 4 year old can do. Even with a chair she was only able to see the bottom 2 rows of 4 of the donuts.
They did offer lots of baked goods including some vegan options. Unfortunately all of the vegan options have soy in them :( Aquafaba!!! Or other egg replacements is so much better and non carcinogenic! Anyways, we spent waaay more than anticipated $26 for a dozen donuts + a cinnamon roll & 2 specialty donuts that don't taste much different than the cheap Asian donut shop that you can spend about $10 less for the same thing.
If they were more friendly we would consider making it a special treat from time to time even with the cost, but you really just can't get past feeling like a number to people with no customer...
Read moreOn 9/5/23, I ordered a dozen and a half gluten free cupcakes for a co-worker's birthday with Jazz (name she gave) over the phone, asked for the final cost and was quoted a price of $36.00. On the day of pickup (9/7/23) I was quoted the price of $54.54, told the lady I only had $40.00 and was not told of an additional cost for gluten free cup- cakes when I placed the order. Adding insult to injury, I was never offered an apology for the misinformation nor was I offered the price I was originally quoted, which would have been the correct thing to do. Instead the lady, with the short blondish colored hair and dark glasses behind the counter, never got her name unfortunately, that waited on me gave a look like do you want them or not and even after I said she should have told me when I placed the order of the additional cost, I still got the look like do you want them or not...had it not been for my co-worker's birthday, I would have left the dozen and a half gluten free cup cakes right there. Customer Service didn't exist on this day and management was unapologetic for their staff's error...I was recommended to this place because of the gluten free cupcakes unfortunately, I will not be returning nor recommending anyone else to...
Read moreI visited this bake shop this morning to purchase a cake for my husband, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. I entered the shop with my service dog, and I was looking at their cake selection. The cakes look great, so I was trying to take a minute to choose. Then one of the staff members informed me that no dogs were allowed inside. I explained that my dog is a service animal, but she still insisted on taking my order outside. So I stepped out.
I went on my phone to look at the photos on Google Maps since I was not allowed to look inside. While outside, I saw there’s a sign that clearly stated service animals were allowed, but still I was made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I tried to show the staff my service dog ID and tried to explain that I just needed to quickly choose a cake, but I was dismissed. While one of the staff members was polite and took my order, the other was rude and seemed to ignore my explanation.
It's disappointing to see this kind of treatment, especially when there's a clear policy in place. I was literally going to be in and out, it’s not like I’m staying. I hope they can improve their customer service. A simple acknowledgment and a bit of understanding would have made all...
