I can't even begin to describe the infuriating experience I had at this Checkers location. This place is an absolute joke, with a staff that couldn't care less about getting orders right and a complete disregard for basic customer service.
Let's start with the simple task of ordering chili cheese fries. The first time around, they had the audacity to give me regular fries instead. Fine, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and asked for the correct item since I had already paid for it n I said it’s ok I’ll pay for the other one cause I didn’t want to make a show for the new poor girl. But no, according to the genius behind the drive-thru window, I had to go back and place a whole new order. Are you kidding me? It's your mistake, yet you expect me to waste more of my time because of your incompetence?
So, I thought, maybe it was just a fluke, maybe the next person taking my order will get it right. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. I specifically emphasized, in the clearest and most concise manner possible, that I wanted chili cheese fries. I even went the extra mile to mention that I wanted the fries that comes with cheese and chicken ON it and i show him the Pic . And what did they do? They handed me another incorrect order! Are they all brain-dead at this place? Can they not comprehend a simple request?
Just to be sure that I wasn't losing my mind, I double-checked the Checkers app. Surprise, surprise! It clearly stated "chili cheese fries." But apparently, the staff at this godforsaken Loctaion can't even understand their own menu. It's mind-boggling how clueless they are about what they're serving.
But wait, the misery doesn't end there. As if dealing with their incompetence wasn't enough, there was a charming customer taking his sweet time at the front window. This self-appointed guardian of the drive-thru felt entitled to yell at me, ordering me to go back in line. Seriously? Since when do customers have the right to meddle in other customers' affairs because of the staff's ineptitude? It's beyond belief!
I have absolutely zero intentions of ever setting foot in this sorry excuse for a Checkers again. The repeated mistakes, the utter lack of menu knowledge, and the disrespectful behavior from both the staff and fellow customers are enough to drive anyone insane. This place is a breeding ground for frustration and disappointment.
I hope this review serves as a loud wake-up call to the management of Checkers. It's high time they start training their employees properly and instilling a sense of basic competence and respect. As paying customers, we deserve accurate orders and a modicum of decency.
I vehemently urge everyone to steer clear of this disastrous Checkers location. Save yourself the rage, disappointment, and wasted time by choosing a restaurant that actually cares about their customers and takes pride in providing a decent...
Read moreI hadn’t been to any Checkers in many years, this particular location was probably my last… I recall this location not being very impressive, but I used to love the one in Woodbridge. So, recently I stopped in here for lunch and got one of their “2 for” deals – I tried two of the Checkerburgers, with everything. I also noticed they have an extra large version of their fries and since I absolutely loved their fries, I got it.
First off – Placing my order – Was Complicated! Why can’t people who work drive-thrus in this country speak and understand fluent English? This is far from being anything offensive, it’s honest – I had a tough time simply asking what comes on the burger. While the service was friendly enough, the language barrier was ridiculous and frankly, unacceptable.
The food – The burgers appeared to be made with stale buns. They had that texture which is prevalent when they’ve been exposed to air too long. Could have been because I got there around 10:45AM for “lunch” but that’s no excuse. They should NOT be serving from a patch of buns opened the day before. Either way, these buns were no good. The meat wasn’t hot, it didn’t even melt the cheese. I found this horribly disappointing, as it’s the reason I no longer eat at McDonalds – they do this “warmer drawer” mess that keeps meat lukewarm, but not hot enough to melt the cheese. Well, it seems Checkers is also serving meat that isn’t hot enough to melt cheese – unacceptable!
Finally, the fries – They tasted like waffle cone! They had a sweet and odd back note to them, which isn’t what I’m familiar with. I wonder if they were fried in the same vat as a dessert item they also make/serve? Either way, I tossed them out after eating about ¼ of the cup of them.
I was so disappointed with this visit that it’ll be another 8 years before...

We initially stood at the window due to having multiple orders and we didn’t want to be complicated in the drive through but after waiting in the window and no one coming and speaking to us we went to the drive through. We apologized for going through the drive through and explain how we went to the window initially and the lady on headset then proceeds to tell us we should’ve been visible in the window if we wanted to be served or spoken to (which we were). Then spoke to us as if we were dumb and in a demeaning tone. As an example we said we wanted a sandwich plain for one of our family members who get sick with certain condiments and so we wanted it with no anything on it the woman on headset then said “sir I know you what plain is” cutting us off rudely. Then as we went to the window she reads us off our order extremely quickly and we said sounds like everything’s there and when we went to pay for our first order she read it off and for calcification we asked if that was the right sandwich in the order the lady then says “sir that’s why I just went over your orders so we didn’t have to do this back and forth and confuse her” (she was referring to the woman at the window who didn’t speak English) with a look of annoyance . Look I’ve worked fast food and so have most of our family so we understand how customer service can take a toll on you but the snide comments and disrespect towards us was unbearable and grounds for termination. I will never be returning to this location and this facility lost an entire family over this one employee being downright degrading and rude. Hopefully your staff can get better training in what customer service is. Plenty of people need jobs right now and hers should be replaced she’s costing...
